List Spots Available (39 of 48):
• Main list (33 of 38) - 5* (in: Starcevich, Young out: Allen, Ryan, Chesser, Hunt, Petruccelle, Jamieson)

It's funny that after the Freo and Port trade they've added all the round 5-10 picks so all the clubs have all these picks in the 80+'s now :tearsofjoy:

That Collingwood draft hand is grim.

So in summary, we got in Leicester Square and The Angel Islington; and moved on Piccadilly and the Old Kent Rd.

Have opportunity to bring in Bond Street and Regent Street or Bond Street, Fleet Street and The Strand.

My childhood domination of school holidays monopoly, says we go the latter and as a blocking move, never, ever sell Bond Street and hope to get Trafalgar Square down the track.

Plus seeing as we all ready have Park Lane, would be happy days to bring in Mayfair at the end of 2027.

Add a couple of lucky Chances, some nice Utilities and we will get out of jail, will have passed go and be free parking at the top of the ladder by 2030.

Again, I know what Richmond wanted, why should we care what they wanted though? It’s the most stupid possible argument you could make.

We had all the leverage, not them.
leverage use (something) to maximum advantage.
We have used a pick to maximum advantage in getting a player who can play Afl next year instead of a 18 year old who might not.
When you are trading in a player you do not have leverage unless you threaten the psd which is a bad look and sours relations with the other club and player managers.
I can understand people cannot let go of the Baker trade but i don't see this trade as being terrible.
I just don't see any of our trades as being really bad.We might have lost out slightly but think the players coming in will be better than some who got games last year.

I’ve conditioned myself to actually want CDT at Pick 2 but if we get offered 5 & 6 or 7 & 8, then we simply have to do the deal.

I want Sharp as much as the next person but unless I’m missing something, given how Clarke spoke about Steele on Trade Radio last week, surely there is no way we take him? They are players with similar strengths/weaknesses? Hearing that interview made me come to terms with it not happening under any circumstance.

On that basis, I think Cumming and Dovaston at 5 & 6 would be ideal both in terms of talent and fit.

Dons will also have pick 9 from the Hawks to play with so they'll have plenty of currency to get 2.

Would be unreal but how do you propose getting Sharp if we don't get the GC pick? Can't see him lasting to 13
I'm in Osaka right now and don't really have the time to finely work through the details, but this is what we pay the big bucks for.

FWIW, I think if we get another pick around 9/10, we're in with a shot. Worst case scenario we get back in front of the bullies and get Dovaston as a back up prize

FWIW 2 for 5 and 6 is not outside of the realms although we'd probably have to throw something else in.
The Vic clubs know Duursma is locked in at one and would take a kings random, we've been obvious to the clubs we like CDT but as I have said for ages it's a smokescreen, Vic clubs want him.
If it was to transpire 41 would need to go in imo.
Good to hear that Vic teams are keen on CDT.
