• Brandon Starcevich arrives at West Coast in a three team deal
• Tylar Young (Richmond) arrived at West Coast in exchange for Pick 38.
• Deven Robertson (Brisbane) has agreed to join West Coast and will be signed on to the rookie list after being delisted by Brisbane

Out:

• Oscar Allen joins Brisbane as a FA - West Coast receive Pick 2 as compensation
• Liam Ryan and a 2027 R3 pick has been traded to St Kilda for a 2026 R2 pick
• Campbell Chesser has been traded to Carlton for Pick 41
• Jayden Hunt announces retirement
• Jack Petruccelle, Callum Jamieson and Loch Rawlinson not offered new contracts
• Coen Livingstone joins the list of players not offered a new contract

* Based on Dewar being upgraded after the maximum 3 years on the rookie list. Hutchinson may also have been upgraded but this isn’t confirmed - if it is we will have 4 main and 4 rookie list spots open

* Matthew Clarke has stated we have 5 main list spots

Surely we're not splitting 2 for 5 & 9 though unless we are certain we will get at 5 who we would pick at 2.

Would be stupid not to split 2 for 5 and 9 IMO, let bombers take CDT and we probably get who we're after anyway and maybe a Dovaston

We can create another list spot pretty easily if the opportunity for another top 10 pick arises I'd imagine

Pretty well stocked for key defenders and key forwards I'd have thought, a ruck would be nice though but doesn't look likely

Seem to always be 5 pages behind on this thread but one thing I can contribute is there seems to be a lot of champing at the bit to call someone champ.
Are we subliminally hoping if we use this word enough it may rub off on the team?
FWIW though all things considered we haven't done too badly. At least we have been more active than usual. Can see this continuing to draft week and being quite active again.

Yep 1,5,9 and trade 13 for a F1 on draft night if someone likes who's still on the board. Gives us a nice draft hand next year 2 x R1s and R2s to load up again before Tassie

Dons will also have pick 9 from the Hawks to play with so they'll have plenty of currency to get 2.

i think 5 and 9 for 2 is closer to the mark then 5 and 6.
then deal with blues to upgrade 13 to 10.

1,5,9 and 10 is a great hand.

Just reels off the 6 young players they have, despite none of them doing anything of note.

What about when clubs have a heap of picks for academy / FS that get eaten up, don't they need to bring in a lot of extra picks to accommodate but won't have the list spots for all those picks.

On Draftguru they start removing our picks from Rd 8 (pick 130 which is our 11th pick) indicating we have 10 live picks...

Late pick or rookie KP player would be Ainsworth, has played ruck/kpf/kpd.
Would be the play to wait and see where he gets too and grab.
Has more athletic profile than Edwards and would be a really nice pick.

Keys is correct, it’s why GCS in particular have had other clubs carry picks into the draft for them only to trade them in immediately after the bell.
