Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

How much is Florent on anyway?

The only estimate I've read is 4 x $700-750k

Florent should be no where near this deal.
Hayward and 3 first rounders, with a late pick coming back to them is the bare minimum that would make me slightly happy

They can do better than this. Unless we’re packaging up 10 and 11 to get another good player while maintaining the picks needed to match Dean and Ison I can’t say it’s all that enticing.

Charlie is a game changer, he can flick the switch and turn a game in 5 minutes. I don’t rate Hayward all that much. Florent is a nice type. Sydney know all this. There needs to be more to it.

I’m intrigued to see the response from Carlton this afternoon, it will say a lot about how the new management see things.

Turn 10/11 into another gun player and keep enough points for Dean and ISON and then I’d say it’s a good deal.

It’s disappointing that as a club we’re in a position to be taken advantage off.
Pick 11 is a slap in the face, a pick in the range of 4-7 would be fair value not 11.
Charlie will ultimately make Sydney a much better side potentially a top 4.
Im not against holding Charlie for another year cause im struggling to see how as a club we benefit from this trade.
