I'm not sure whether people are aware that we offered Hayward a 6 year big contract just last year. He ended up staying with Sydney on a 5 year deal. He is right at the peak of his powers. Not dropping off, actually playing stronger than ever.

He is a top quality player to prise out.

Charlie is a huge loss, but for whatever reason, there is now no love lost between him and us. Charlie imo, will star for Sydney for however long his legs hold him up.

But in the circs, i'm happy with the 2 firsts that fit with what we want to achieve, and Will Hayward
