The Carlton nuffies bringing up Kennedy last year as to why the should get Buku cheap boggles my mind. Do they not understand the difference between a guy they pushed out and told to go and find other opportunities, compared to a contracted player that we want to keep (and one we have developed for years from our own NGA).
I dont care if you "dont even really rate him". Your club decided to pursue a contracted player, that has played plenty of games for us over the past two years. The onus is on you to offer something decent to allow him to leave, a future 3 is a joke and what we would get if he were OOC, big difference. We aren't asking for a 1st rounder or anything unreasonable, meet the asking price if you want to try poach contracted, required players.

Yep 7 first round picks for Tasmania, plus an increased number of compensation picks based on Tasmania signings (although I think most will be exercised the following year) plus still presumably a handful of 1R academy and FS signings will push a 2027 2R right back - I think still probably better than 41 if Carlton are shit but not by much.

I will be surprised if he does not. Different environment, interstate. I think the feeling that because he would be based on the GC that that would be chaos is just cope.

I'd rather we sign Frost to a 1 year deal than trade for Leek Aleer or someone else that gets hyped up (who can't actually defend).
I'm actually glad we haven't been sucked in to the Steven May hype either.

Thats a pretty poor stance to take Doggy.
Whilst I agree the situation he put us in sucks, I would never take someone being stuck in an depressive/addicted state as a consolation prize.
He will never become the generational player he was capable of but if everything aligns perfectly may still eek out a career. Based on his history and that of similar in his situation though it seems unfortunate to me though that you will get your wish.
Personally I hope he isn’t lost to the game and can turn his life around (I don't think one happens without the other).
