Hands down the least exciting trade week of recent years.

Happy we got Buller but he’s played, what, 12 nope, edit: 10 games! Barely better than a draftee. I’d not heard of him until he was getting discussed on here.

No one exciting wanted to come to us. Pretty disappointing.

2022 we got Bobby, Titch, McStay and Frampton all nominating us. This was a flag winning combo.

2023, Lauchie Schultz was an exciting pick up to add to our Premiership winning list.

Add in Bobby, fit McStay and Fit JDG as well as Reef and Buller - we are good to go.

Your optimistic...DeGoey 24 games in 2 years, Bobby a real unknown how he goes with his personal life and McStay just doesn't give enough as a marking forward.....
We look to be rolling out close to the same side next year, with Pendles, Sidey and Howe a year older, and 2 inexperienced forwards most likely in West and Buller...
I'm not thinking we are going to be earth shattering next season....

A 2027 first is likely a very low pick, considering tassie. A 2026 2nd is even lower, and I kind of love Leppa for negotiating in the other direction lol.

We were never selling the farm. I think he'd be a handy player, for the record, but not on the asking price which we were right to baulk at.

The whole footy world gets up in arms because ‘players and player agents have too much power’ and are breaking contracts, but just quietly clubs are treating long term contracts the same way.

Oliver, Florent and Steele dumped for third rounders because they’re too expensive on the books. Swans shop their players around and almost force them to get out to bring a player in.

We lost Pendles 90 seconds into the prelim and DeGoey was a non factor and still should have been within 6 points and charging with 10 minutes to go. They're not the ****n Death Star everyone is crying about

I don't get the pessimism we're dropping off or likely too. We've only lost ageing checkers and replacing him with some young forward talent. The rest of the list is there plus guys returning from injury, a couple of our decent young guys continuing to push into the side, a settled Houston and fitter de goey, fired up Bobby. Id be shocked and annoyed if we aren't top 6.
