He'll 100% get through to Adelaide in the PSD.Surely Ah Chee doesn’t get to Adelaide through PSD? I know it’s a bit of a handshake thing, but clubs will be all over him now trying to get him in. We should absolutely be one of them.

Only more KPD depth than any club in the league...So Gold Coast, GWS and Brisbane got stronger... what'd we get.. Judd and hope in natural growth? Still have a wing and small forward issue and a lack of quality KPD depth.

Also a win for the clubs that trade in good faith. The usuals that expect they can poach contracted players and strong arm deals got found out.Very good for us that Geelong, Hawthorn and Adelaide missed out on big trade ins.
All well and good but we were blessed on the injury front this year, mostly, and have just turned over our S&C department.Let's not downplay that.
We haven't lost a player this year either.
Did you forget the 'quality' key word? Pearce and Ryan go down and we have... OMac, Draper and Davies.Only more KPD depth than any club in the league...
Not so much the offer (which was overs) but the traditional style of negotiation through the media combined with being completely brazen about approaching him mid season with no respect, as well as the "setting arbitrary deadlines" as a means of forcing an early deal. That can get in the bin and it's good that it hasn't been encouragedI'll be honest I think Hawthorn offered more than enough for Merrett.
Its more a lesson for players that if you're contracted and request a trade it doesn't mean you'll get traded.
Add Geelong (Worpel), Sydney (Curnow) and Giants (Oliver) to the list. Glad I'm not the only one concerned. So Gold Coast, GWS and Brisbane got stronger... what'd we get.. Judd and hope in natural growth? Still have a wing and small forward issue and a lack of quality KPD depth.
