He isn’t a back up he will rotate forward and ruck as well, but the saints could be top top heavy playing both TDK and Marshall.

They have 2 ruckman that can do nothing but play ruck, neither have any skills as a forward and it will fail within the first 8 games of the season.

Then we will get the reports that St Kilda is going to bench Marshall for the balance of the team, just like what happened at Melbourne with Gawn and Grundy. It just wont work, trying to put a player out of position when they don't know what they are doing.

St Kilda have absolutely embarrassed themselves with the way they’ve dealt with Aleer, Marshall and salary dumped their loyal captain.

I’d be surprised if they’re anywhere near challenging for finals next year.

I can't fault them for wanting to go after blokes but they've got it all wrong.
You build an elite core and THEN you bring in role players on the cheap.

Not build a mediocre core and overpay role players.
They kept a contracted player, time will tell if they were smart or not to do so.
