Yes, a club want a player but his club want pick 1 for him. It doesn't get done so it's the other clubs fault lol. The Crows weren't "bluffing", F2 was already seen as fair value by everyone in the industry and then we threw in F3 as well. Brisbane clearly has a strategy to hopefully change his mind and re-sign with them probably still underpay him like they've done for years but his manager seems very pissed.

His manager can say what he likes mate. He's fired up obviously. If he cared that much should've been running between rooms of Adelaide and Brisbane to negotiate. Didn't care much, what's the point in stomping the foot now.

Lucky for us we didn't promise the manager to get him to Adelaide... also... I think our club has a great track record of getting deals done... that's the sort of reputation we'd have with managers. Just look at out long list of inbound players and the nil list of players we committed to and failed to get through the door...

You may well be right...we might lose Cal for nothing and he might even end up with Adelaide via the PSD

This might even end up being Dom's first 'bad' move but don't for a second think that Brisbane fans' laughs come from the hubris of being back-to-back premiers...make no mistake, they come from the fact that our club trusts our list management team 1,000,000 per cent because they've given us every reason to do so

If Dom felt this was the right deal to cut our nose off to spite our face, then Brisbane fans will back him without hesitation

In Dom we trust...
