Only thing I can think is the builders are having trouble with the building site at Punt Road and need a really good runner to run all over it to trample it down. It cannot possibly be anything to do with football.

Averaged 21 at VFL level and kicked 13 goals. Had a 30 possession game in there.

He’s an elite runner and good size so worth a punt as a Macca replacement / Hugo upgrade.

With Mannagh, Dempsey, Smith, Holmes, Close, Miers, Blicavs et al it’s not surprising he couldn’t crack a game at Geelong.

Not sure why we waited until the last hour … just bided our time in case something else came up I guess, and when it didn’t we got our man … haha.

With salary caps i have no idea why teams need to have limited list spots its just bloody crazy

If you have the cap space then why not have more players to improve your list with having more options

Get rid of the Rookie list and increase the lists to a 60 player max

This gives the lower sides more chances to get players via draft to find the gems

I could live with team lists expanding to 60 but only on the proviso that Geelong are restricted to only 40 players on their list.

Geelong would manage to find some way to recruit all the A graders in the competition and "remain under the cap" all the while claiming the players want to go there for less money and the lifestyle.

They don't get rid of 19yo's because they can't crack a game at the moment. They got rid of him because they think he won't be an AFL footballer. From his highlights, his kicking is way below.
