I dont think we will finish much worse this year even if we do have injuries 7 to 9 wins.
If we stay healthy and Hudson okeffe and the small forwards have a big year we could be seriously pushing for a top 8 to 6 spot

Voss has no excuses in 2026. He’s got outside spread, depth and some class up on the half forward line. Culture killers and those wanting to go have been eradicated. Coaching staff has had turn over. We’ve had great positive changes with CD and GW come in and impact most likely in a short amount of time. Fantastic facilities. And us putting some faith into him again knowing he’s fighting for his position and has significant change.

We will turn up. We will show up. We will also not be quiet if things are going great or terribly bad. I’m so intrigued for next year.

It's probably heresy to say here, but it's almost not worth getting Walker if he's a TOP 5 player and we have to give up a TOP 5 player and a TOP 10 player to get him potentially or at least 2 TOP 10 players. Obviously I want Walker but it may come at the cost of a two kids of similar talent. It's what they want I guess

Overall I'm pretty happy with our trade period, we were put in a difficult position but made out with 4 players that could/should all easily be walk up best 22 (Chesser only question mark in regards to staying healthy, but talent is obvious) and a bunch of draft capital.

While you can't really replace Charlie's ability, you can replace the conditional efforts and actually wanting to play for the club.

I know trading is confusing but we had Dean covered regardless and would have covered Ison without needing to trade a Charlie Curnow. Which part of my posting history has given any impression I don't understand the DVI and draft?

I'm not confused. I just have a different view on this trade than others.

I love our haul of players this trade period. We've made some changes to every line.
Florent in defence. Chesser on the wing. Hayward & Ainsworth into the forward line.
No superstars - just very solid, dependable players. Not to mention Dean will slot straight into the defensive line too.

reckon Chesser has huge upside....
