Thought you guys might find this YouTuber talking about Retschko's delisting from Geelong ... starts talking about him at the 5.40 min mark ... he even predicted he might end up at the Tigers

Alot of what he says makes sense and is correct except the part where there is only so many spots to go around and list spots. Whilst keeping a 33 year old constantly injured Cam Guthrie on the list

Guthrie has played 35 games in the last three years, not 10. And he earned them in a top 4 side, not bottom 4.

His body is no longer up to the rigours of AFL football, like Prestia.

The reason we traded instead of waiting till he was officially delisted was a couple other clubs were interested so wanted to jump the cue

Cats were also happy to get him home to us all this year they had a wind he was a tiger

Didn’t stop Sh*tkilda booting their 2 x B&F Captain. Guthrie’s a cat. Won’t offer them much next year particularly with the sub gone

Looks like a good pickup. Seems very similar to Hugo, better runner but not as quick. Seems odd to delist a kid in his first year that can rack up 28 / 30 disposal games in the VFL in his first year off the wing.

He would definitely have played for us last year with those numbers and we are in real need for wingers who can run and carry, hence Mac playing all year, so this looks like a no brainer pick-up.

Besides his ball drop looks pretty similar to another Patrick that goes ok Kardinia way.

Doesn’t surf, dislikes cows, prefers to wear Bonds and not Cotton On. Cards were marked at Geelong.

A bigger bodied, hard running wing/mid is exactly what we are missing now Macca has gone. Not as good overhead or defensively as Macca, but a likely type.

Also increases our misfiels depth which we struggles with last year because of injuries.

Also great to have a genuine Tiger supporter at the club too!

We don’t lack experience though, particularly in the middle. Nank, TT and Hopper all well over 150 games. Ross has nearly 100 games.
