From what I have seen and read of jevin phillipou, hard pass.

Wouldn’t shock me if he slipped thru to a rookie or late pick.

Lacks polish with his kicking, smaller sized, is quick but not as quick as thought ( ran closer to 3sec 20m) at combine.

I am a huge fan of matteaus phillipou and think he will become an A grader in 2026.

IMO he’ll go BPA - might pull a pick 22 special.

I’m also interested that Hoffman has not been mentioned as a delist type yet.. he was the Saints NGA we took last year who looked good in his few VFL appearances

At this point get Goldy.. ask him for 14 games and he doesn’t play vfl but he’s on close to mimimim chips.

Stanley and Blitz can cover the rest of the rotations with Neale and SDK covering from and back Halves.

Not great but prob best option if we need to go with a ruck not on our list

There is now definitely the haves and have nots at the Aints…

In sure it will be all butterflies and unicorns until about July when it’s cold and wet and the losses have started to mount - and they will - and the have nots are asking more of the haves.. and why the 1.5mlion club aren’t that much better than the 800k guys..

And as I’ve posted earlier.. player managers will have the Leek stuff on repeat anyone a player of theirs suggests the Saints.

So what’s our pick 19 projected to be after academy bids etc? And who are the players we are likely to have available to us here? Haven’t followed the U18’s hardly at all this year.

He in no way fills a need but I thought Cameron Nairn looked a Wells-type player and I note Twomey has him around the mark on his board. Interesting more broadly to see what a strong SA does to our model this year.

I'd be delighted with landing an elite ball user flanker/wingman type to replace Stewart or Duncan. Then getting a readymade gun mid via trade/FA next season.

I cannot evisage a world where a 3rd round pick in this draft ends up better than Ted. It's a million to 1 shot

Sorta where careers go to die, which is odd given our strike rate later in the draft.

I think we need to start preparing for St Kilda to come hard for SDK next year and the year after. SDK becomes a RFA at end of 2027.

For all their spending this year their backline still lacks a 200cm+ defender to line up on B King, Darcy, Neale etc.

They will surely allocate big spend targeting SDK to link up with TDK, especially with Marshall getting older.

He could request a trade in the next 2 years if it’s crazy money like Tom.

If they offer 2 x F1 picks next year around pick 10-15 mark, and/or a player, then we’d have to seriously look at it. (Especially if he requests)

But that means finding or blooding a tall, big bodied key defender to partner with Henry & COS the next 5+ years.

Does Jacob Molier (201cm) spend some time in defence in VFL next year and come in for a few games?

I'm guessing he's the brother of Matteaus?

Compared to Oliver in his draft …predicted top10 if not earlier. Gone well before our pick going by the latest from the know it alls...
