How? Please explain and include Beard's CV while you do it. Then after that point out some individuals you would have hired on the basis of "we don't know you".

Bit worried that we're bringing back in more of the same-o.
More ex-players. Promoting from within.

Midfield feels like it's tapering off and getting beat more often later in the season, rather than being a strength despite Brayshaw/Serong/Jackson et al. Corey a touch stale?
Movement from the backline has been an obvious problem for a long time.

Longmuir's been here for 6 years now and we can't afford to plateau off.
Was hoping for a touch more of a refresh in staff to keep the ball rolling.

May get some Reid minutes, Jackson will train as a mid and that may really help a lot.

Ras broke out towards the end of the year, that is massive if he can sustain it. Johnson was starting to put it together when he got injured.

Bolton another year in our system can’t hurt. Darcy getting a proper preseason would be massive, he was building.

This will be Corey’s 3rd year, hopefully hitting his straps in the role if they don’t shuffle.

I think Graham has done well with with he's been given. Amiss and Bolton aside we've never really invested good picks in the forward line. Reid would perhaps be an exception but I keep hearing the club thinks he's a midfielder.

Comparatively our defence is mostly first and second round draft picks and our midfield rotation the same, although we clearly haven't invested enough in wingers.
Lobb, Hogan and Logue theoretically should be the core of our forward line, with Henry running around.

Fair bit of investment there.

Totally different statement.
My original post was about Jaymie Graham and people criticising him when there's less forward investment on our list than other areas.

I think what's here now is pretty relevant especially when you consider Amiss and Bolton were barely around when tge players you mentioned were at the club.

Also Logue kind of proves my original point. It was an over-investment in defenders which meant he was unable to get a game in defence.
