Seeing Darcy Cameron in a Sydney jumper is like seeing Jack Crisp in a Brisbane jumper. They are so much associated with Collingwood now that I often forget they came from other clubs and aren’t one club players.

McStay was ranked elite for contested marks in the first half of the year (I think he was in the top 10 in the comp). Time to just leave him deep in the forward 50 instead of moving him all over the ground.

How you found that out?
That news was just passed on to me by our club historian (Michael Roberts). I assist Michael with research on various things, as well as doing a bit of work on the Collingwood Forever website. But I didn't find that one out myself, and was totally unaware of the connection! It's obviously not a well-known story, and Buller’s name isn’t included in the family ties section of the 2025 AFL Record Season Guide, so it seems quite likely the AFL don't know about it either!
