so embarrassing for you Lachie Neale extended his contract became club captain went on to win another Brownlow and 2 premiershipsNice work on the google search mate, would read again. Unfortunately these quotes from Bell do not contradict my point in any way, they affirm it.
Brisbane and it’s fickle fan base have; by virtue of AFL assistance, become a club (sorry combination of clubs) of haughty braggarts.
Ah Chee owed you nothing, repaid your investment in him in spades, you have repaid this with spite. This situation should not bring you or the club pride, it’s simply childish, hypocritical, pettiness.
Must be nice to play the go home card every off-season as well.Imagine trying to flex when the afl has held your dick for the better half of 2 decades. Must be nice being able to pick up father sons with 100 games experience while also tapping into afl funded academies.
Yes, but we pay in fair trade and not use pick 30s, 40s and 50s to get them. Massive difference.Must be nice to play the go home card every off-season as well.
Which players have we bought in with picks in the 2nd round+ that were worth more than that? In any case I have heard your theories on how you paid for Dawson with pick 14 (lies) and how that was overs (also lies).Yes, but we pay in fair trade and not use pick 30s, 40s and 50s to get them.

I said overs at that time and yes it was pick 14 from Melbourne's pick. What picks did you use on your F&S draftees????Which players have we bought in with picks in the 2nd round+ that were worth more than that? I was responding to this poster regarding academies vs. Go home factor, not trades. You've made it very clear in the past you do not understand the draft, compesation picks and future pick trades so I'm not going into that with you again.
Sorry son, wrong on all counts there, Academies are funded by the club, father/sons come with no games experience lol, and the AFL doesn't hold our dick it just gives it little tickle every now and again, you know how good that feels yeahImagine trying to flex when the afl has held your dick for the better half of 2 decades. Must be nice being able to pick up father sons with 100 games experience while also tapping into afl funded academies.
What’s the PSD drama got to do with Brisbane ? He isn’t a Brisbane player anymore.alright, thanks for all the lolz but I think I'm done with this thread...looking forward to the PSD drama
see you all then![]()
As I've said you don't understand the draft or pick trades and I'm not going to discuss it with you. I wasn't even quoting you to start this conversation. You need to go away, read and watch some videos on how trades and the draft works because it is obvious you have no idea.I said overs at that time and yes it was pick 14 from Melbourne's pick. What picks did you use on your F&S draftees????

Sounds a bit like "late 2nd rd pick so fair trade" for Ah Chee logic. Unfortunately for Adelaide they traded with a bigger fish. You may well get Ah Chee through the PSD, but the Adelaide way of trading has well and truly been laid out for the whole competition to see...Dawson (pick 14 so fair trade at that time), Rankine (pick 5), Peatling (F2, GWS thought we would have been shit this year after finishing 15th last year) and ANB (pick 28 for a contracted 29 years old player), they all occurred after Hately. You need to change your username from "Dom PC" to "Dom The Prick", he stuffed up this trade and it has reflected very poorly on Brisbane. Hopefully, the AFL look at the massive leg up to you and GCS but unlikely as they are still trying to "grow" in a NRL dominated state.
Yes, you did get lucky before the AFL finally changed the bidding system to be more "fair" lol.
How is your holier than thou attitude, it seems that you are only here for a fight and accuse the Lions of the exact same advantages that Footscray receive. all this rubbish about spite, being hypocritical and pettiness is all you have dealt since you sat down.Nice work on the google search mate, would read again. Unfortunately these quotes from Bell do not contradict my point in any way, they affirm it.

If you were a "bigger" fish then you would have gotten pick 16, we treated you like GWS with the same outcome.Sounds a bit like "late 2nd rd pick so fair trade" for Ah Chee logic. Yes, very lucky.
Nah. We stood firm on only being willing to accept the fair trade which never came. That's a big fish move.If you were a "bigger" fish then you would have gotten pick 16, we treated you like GWS with the same outcome.
Where are these port coming?Look out cows here comes Port !
I thought you would have at least provided the financial brakedown for all the clubs, given such bold statements that the AFL pays for our Academy to verify such remarks.Nothing is guaranteed but it helps an massive amount when margins are so tight.
Give it 12 months and there probably will be 4 Northern teams in the 8. Sydney only missed in 25 due to PTSD from another GF blowout but they play in a GF every 2nd year just about. GWS have contended for a long time and had a small dip but are back thanks to academies. GC have been a basket case forever and even they managed to win a final on the back of the free ride.
The AFL have created a huge probably that will take a decade to fix unless they ban trading or some other extreme like they have done in the past.
You don't pay for the academies, you get given double the money by the AFL to pay for them. There is a difference.
He was out of contract, it works the opposite like Free agency. If you won't match the contract then he can go through the PSD route as no one is wasting that much money on him, even the bad teams. A bit like Brisbane paying 1m a season for Allen, it's so the trade value is not required or minimal in this case.
Completely different if the player is in contract.
I love how you clowns think port is coming they aren't going to risk butters and NWM especially as his manager is Callum's managerLook out cows here comes Port !

.They ain't going to spend that money and risk losing buttersI would be more worried about fages getting on the phone and saying how does 3 in a row soundI love how you clowns think port is coming they aren't going to risk butters and NWM especially as his manager is Callum's manager. They ain't going to spend that money and risk losing butters
I will say this though, it appears that you are quite bitter about the northern states now. Where was this bitterness in 2011-2017 when we were battling at the bottom.Nothing is guaranteed but it helps an massive amount when margins are so tight.
