Paid mine as well yesterday, they weren't sure why the cost had risen so much this year so it must be Ticktec price gouging again
Got the ticket companies mixed up (both rip off the public) but when I paid the club didn't know why my Lv 2Gold membership had gone up $199 so there must be someone else involved in the pricingWhy would Ticketek be responsible, the Dogs and AFL set the price.
Also Marvel based clubs use Ticketmaster.
Aren’t the people you talk to just call centre staff who work for all clubs?Got the ticket companies mixed up (both rip off the public) but when I paid the club didn't know why my Lv 2Gold membership had gone up $199 so there must be someone else involved in the pricing

Wondering if they’ve changed the category like mine?My Silver reserved seat membership with social club went up $30 to $690.
You need a sensible explanation from the Club if yours went up by so much.
Don’t be fobbed off.
I went down to the club and spoke with them as I pay cash for the membership so I don't get added to the ongoing deductions by TicketmasterAren’t the people you talk to just call centre staff who work for all clubs?
I called the club with the same question and got told my interstate membership was now called a home membership…. Not confusing at all, but looks like interstate now sits within long distance options under the umbrella of a home membership. Must be why it went up by $105, as I didn’t even get a game in my state this season and who knows for next year.I’ve just logged in to check mine and it looks like they’ve reverted my membership from interstate to 6 game home….thats pretty useless for me in Qld
Have they changed the rules on what membership you have to have to be a Social Club?
I had the interstate last year with it with no issues
So they’ve done the exact opposite of what I asked them to in the survey.I called the club with the same question and got told my interstate membership was now called a home membership…. Not sure we will ever play in KievI called the club with the same question and got told my interstate membership was now called a home membership…. Not sure that our colours would go down well there. West Coast though...Not sure we will ever play in Kiev
Play in a chicken kiev? Sounds delicious. Not sure we will ever play in Kiev

)I agree. My membership rolled over today. My own fault, since I didn't read the fine print in the email from the club, i.e., it rolls over unless an alternative is arranged. But the annoying thing is that I have opted out of automatic rollover on several occasions in the past, and I was irked that somehow I got sucked back in without my knowledge. Not keen on the auto-renewal being implemented so early. I don't have a problem with the auto-renewal for the set and forgetters, but it's a bit like a mobile phone plan, we ought to review them every couple of years to ensure that the package that we are on is the best fit. The auto-renewal should not be implemented until at least four weeks after the AFL does the fixture release in order to give members a change to digest the fixture. The current system rips money off members before they can make an informed decision based upon the next seasons game dates/times and venues. I asked not to be auto-renewed this year and so far they haven't. I will renew my membership via phone to the club once the fixture is actually released.
can you get a refund if it auto renewals? I'm going to live overseas and won't be attending. I told them this last year over the phone but they still took it out of my back account this year. Not keen on the auto-renewal being implemented so early. The guy on the phone today offered a refund without me even asking for one. He said it had been processed while we were still on the phone, and that I should get it in 3 - 5 working days. The club are usually pretty good at refunds, so I wouldn't expect any hassle if you just ask for one.can you get a refund if it auto renewals? I'm going to live overseas and won't be attending. Any advice would be appreciated
Mine expired 2 years ago, that's when I went to cash payments, wasn't giving them the new card numberThey rang me this year to say my card has expired. A sweet victory for me this year. I’ll pay when I’m ready, thanks.
