Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Hope so, he has a lot of potential. Love that left boot of his and has some wheels as well, which we need. Not sure I'd have him as best 23 for 2026, could be a 2027 bonus...
We need a mix though? The more footage I watch, the more I am warming to Sam Cumming tied with Robey. The idea of a mid/forward rotation with Lalor and Hotton is salivating.
McAuliffe?We need a mix though?
Whos the defensive mid? We need to take Grilj or Sharp with one of those guys you mentioned IMO.

McAuliffe?
He may not be back in 2026...
Geez he has grown. He has to be at least 195cm now.View attachment 2461279
Mrs Grlj has let the cat out of the bag. He's going to West Coast.
Depending what range players we rated. So trading down to one of Melbourne's picks + future first might be an option. If the draft is shallow, why are people suggesting Richmond trade down for lower picks with a reduced chance of landing an A-grade player?
It is cockamamie logic!
Yeah, I can't see Eagles not taking at least one of Sharp or CDT along with Duursma...most likely CDT. If Eagles decide they want to beef up the midfield, then with Duursma being a 'utility' it seems logical they'd select the player who has proven to be the best pure mid in the draft, and that's Sharp.Very, very unlikely we do that wormy. Incredibly risky duo.
Watch the highlights from his VFL game against Sandringham ... my favourite is when he was streaming through the centre square and he just ran straight through the tackler and then delivered the kick lace out.
I think we’d ideally trade 2,13 for 5,6 and hopefully pair the proven and high floor midfielders Sharp and Cumming with Duursma.Yeah, I can't see Eagles not taking at least one of Sharp or CDT along with Duursma...most likely CDT. If Tigers got CDT and Sharp we'd be doing cartwheels.

5,6 could miss on Sharp & CummingI think we’d ideally trade 2,13 for 5,6 and hopefully pair the proven and high floor midfielders Sharp and Cumming with Duursma.
Bombers wouldn’t take that for 2. For one perhaps at a stretch.I think we’d ideally trade 2,13 for 5,6 and hopefully pair the proven and high floor midfielders Sharp and Cumming with Duursma.
Nah, they will take Duursma and Sharp or trade a pick out. Highly unlikely they take a risky Melb metro kid.I think this board needs to accept the very real possibility that West Coast takes Duursma and Robey.
In which case we take two of CDT, Grlj, and X Taylor.
Personally I think CDT and Grlj would still be a great haul, but my preference is for Robey.
Oskar Taylor ! we are big into him.Taranto, Hopper, Lalor, Smillie, Hotton, McAulliffe, Ross and Dow with Campbell and MRJ pinch hitting isn't enough depth? Big chance Kellaway is added to that mix.
What we really need is a HBF with speed, defensive skills and a ground ball winner with great disposal, similar with a winger and a ruck.
Think about what Robey could be worth in a few years.Pick #9 & #11 not enough ?
I think we would jump at that
because the chance of landing an A grade is in the top 3 picks, which we have 1 of.If the draft is shallow, why are people suggesting Richmond trade down for lower picks with a reduced chance of landing an A-grade player?

I am so glad you are not doing our draftingCDT and Sharp![]()
Why would anyone trade out of a better rated draft (2026) for a draft pick that is no better than the next 10 - 13 picks?because the chance of landing an A grade is in the top 3 picks, which we have 1 of.
from there on out for the next 10-13 picks it is fairly even, hence trading of pick 4 to split into next year and slide back a fraction this year is worth considering.

And makes sense for them to do it with Essendon specifically because Essendon can give them points back. Why is a team trading up if the players are all even between 4-17? I’m giving up 2 of those players for 1 for reasons?
This is the most confusing thing that I read about trading up and down here or on wce/bombers/dees boards, no one seems to ask why the other team would do the deal that often only benefits one side?
Blues are the only one who make sense to get ahead of Dean bid.
