Has Jaime Uhr-Henry been delist a week or so ago?

A mate said there was something on Twitter?

Hill and Uhr-Henry are Category B rookies so unless something untoward has happened they'll be kept on.
Mitchell, a Cat A rookie and Ryan are the only two OOC players.

Uhr-Henry looked miles off VFL, I wouldn't be surprised if we let him go IMO.

Maybe there’s no one else that catches our attention.

If the AFl make the extra aboriginal rookie spot, Hill may move onto that…. Hill has some real speed and xfactor. Will be exciting to watch in 2026 after a year to find his feet.

Do you think Shammy and Bodie Ryan will be re-signed?
I know Seamus had 5 clubs showing some form of interest and with some of our depth gone I feel he would be more than handy to keep?

Hey team.

Just a query on our list for 2026. I understand we were not prepared to meet Essendon's demands for Merrett. Given he may only have 2 to 3 years of elite play left. And giving up three "first rounders" plus an existing player from our 22 was not something we were prepared to offer.

My question is in terms of list strategy/management (I'm a big fan of list building in the NFL), and how big trades can impact your list depth as you don't have access to first round draft picks. The 49ers (my NFL team) did this when they traded a bunch of first round picks to trade up for a quarter back. 3 first rounders. Trey Lance was a total bust, in fact one of the worst trades in history). Now that scenario is slightly different as the 49ers were trading for an unknown rookie who had never played before, whereas Merrett is elite and a known element.

I guess the principle is the same about mortgaging your future and not having first round picks.

If you draft and develop players well (as the Hawks seem to do) are the three first rounders more valuable than the one player who will be there for a shorter term?

Any thoughts on the Hawks not meeting Essendon's demands vs the picks we retained for refreshing our list in 2027, 2028, 2029?

Thanks in advance.

We learned two things from that video...

1) Percy loves the Hawks

2)AI will be the death of all of us
AI will certainly be the death of some industries in the near future. AI really is only in its infancy. There will always be limits to what AI can do
