Is he coaching the ressies or an actual development coach?

Many Clubs have moved to the concept that ressies are now called Development.

Personally, I understand the concept then you go to games and see 35+ year olds running around and wonder what development they need.

Maybe it's the new world but for mine, Ressies/Magoos etc made more sense and I was never offended when I played (or was selected on the pine) however I also never developed......

Yeah, I am aware that some clubs use the "Development Squad" garbage, i just wasn't sure if that is what this role was - the post described his role as "Senior Mens Development Coach" which to me sounded like he was working with development of players, as opposed to coaching the 2s.

On 2nd look, on the image posted that says "Development Side Head Coach"... so he's coaching the magoo's/ressies.

Good appointment, just call it what it is.

Still unsure of Boro but hearing a few may be on the move but I think they’ll be able to bring some in.

DC look to be heading in the right direction with signings. If they can maintain their GF side they’ll be competitive.

Eltham look to have maintained their list and added a couple. The big test year for them after a couple of years development in D1

Unfortunately Bergs aren’t resting either and expect a couple of announcements. They’ll be hard to catch.

Hurstbridge have been busy but Cookson leaving hurts.

Relegation battle could be interesting.

They’ll be fine, heard some big names incoming. I believe Davies back and hopefully Holmes. A couple of VFL boys may be full time as well.

Thats a massive loss. Would only be mid-twenties. Gun player in my opinion.

Seems like really unfortunate timing in their off season with their departures.

I'm sure Rohan Welsh and his merry men will be working overtime and have something in the works to bring some talent in to replace.
