Yeh tough read that one
Way too many characters and places with long names
Give me the good old Hobbit story any day
I tried and failed..It was a tough read.

Favourite fantasy writer of all time for me starts with Magician by Raymond E Feist. If you haven't read it then jump in. Theres 30 or so books with a different sagas that are linked.

I've been waiting 14 years for the third book in Patrick Rothfuss' King killer Chronicles.

The first two were absolute bangers.

I once tried to explain the plight of being a Fremantle fan to a friend (who doesn't know sports). She said "oh so it's like me waiting since 07 for Rothfuss to finish his trilogy"

The name of the wind is my favourite book...

If he ever finished the series then it would take its rightful place at the top of my favourites.

Jim Butcher, Michael J Sullivan, Brent Weeks, Brian McClellan, David Daglish, Raymond Feist....All have written fantastic series and are either finished them or on the way to finishing them.

Rothfuss and George R R .Martin have let me down so hard.
