I believe we'll take him but if someone slides we will look to take him as a rookie selection.
If some of the predictions are correct in only 50 something players will be selected, there's a good chance the club will get him as a rookie....

You’d think WC at 34 is about right, unless Freo jump in early at 20.

WC maybe use 34 as a part of a trade up and pick 20 there may be better players available.

I thought he was almost BOG for the AFL Academy against our VFL team. He played wing that game as well if I remember correctly.

He's the type of player I think could be turned into a good HBF if it doesn't work out in the midfield.

Eagles have a few academy players that could get a bid, most likely would be Tylah Williams who could get a bid late 1st round.early 2nd, Kobe Evans looks to be a talent and Wes Walley possibly late/rookie

I reckon he’s got plenty of tricks - size, speed, athleticism.
As Toadvine said, played well against our 2s, off hb that day, due to a stacked midfield for the academy. Had a cracking 3Q where his run/carry stood out.
Maybe he blazes away a bit by foot and a bit inconsistent.

I'm a fan of Pickett as well.

Louis Emmet is someone we've been rumoured to like for a long time since he trained with us back in January as part of the AFL academy program.

He would be a nice way to balance the list with a talented, young, genuine ruck coming through.

For a long time, he was thought of as a first round pick (even top 5) but now after a pretty weak 2025 he might fall in this range.

If we don't need it for kellaway
I hope we can use it on louis Emmett
If he slides

Any one of Dalton, Swadling, Emmett or Leray would be awesome at this pick.

This is where I can see that pick going. It'll likely come in a few spots after all the bid matching and as we saw with Dodson last year, rucks will slide down the order.

I can't see us going CDT early if eagles pass and our overall list balance will be a lot better finishing with a combo of:

Robey, Grlj, Emmett, Kellaway (rookie)

Much better outcome than:

CDT, Robey, Swadling/Pickett, Kellaway.

If the bombers are as hot on CDT as we are led to believe than this could open up the potential of a swap for 4&5 with 38 being upgraded or a future pick.

Given how Blair trades in/out of drafts I'd be very surprised if we don't enhance our 2026 draft hand with at least 1 additional pick.

If his disposal is unreliable, the last thing Richmond needs is to lose possession from the half-back flank.

I can't see Richmond trading pick 3 or 4 in the 2025 draft, especially with all the media commentary backing this up.

Dont have to trade it completely.

Could be as simple as sliding 4 back to 5 or 7 or sliding 38 back into the 40s.

Both scenarios we can pick up some F2/F3 round picks like we did a few years back. The extra points might be critical for Armstrong, Leys or Daffy

Was my thought too, if youre getting atkins may as well look at Landy.

Either player though I don’t think it is really the type we want at 38. Ruck/small forward/HBF or a slider like Barker/Thredgold.
