I agree. More meant in terms of the salary cap benefits of maxing out our rookie list.
The benefit of what you suggest would be that players taken in the rookie draft don't need to be given two year contracts like they are in the national draft.
Only been a Cat B Rookie for 2 years since he was drafted at the end of 2023. So, we don't have to do anything till next season.

Brain might need to be upgraded though, as he's been there three years now. Makes sense we're moving for Murphy to fill the spot that becomes free as a result.
Interesting take.
I don't disagree with the bottom six, however I would move Collingwood, Geelong & Sydney into the finals contenders. Collingwood are super old, Geelong couldn't have a better season luck wise than they just had & for Sydney, one player won't make the difference.
