I find music genres incredibly confusing. I understand what uptheWC is trying to say, you only have to read DorothyG's post and they've listed 7 different sub-genres when trying to describe Green Day's sound over the years.

Drum machine - dance
MC - hip hop
Screaming - metal
Redneck complaining - country
School music lessons instruments - classical

I watched big Bazzas Romeo + Juliet for the 1st time since I think year 10 English class.

Honestly, still holds up as a solid movie. Timeless storey with a unique take. Very of its time.

Does that movie idea get green lit now days, probably not. Which is a shame

But gee, young Leo was a bonafide stud

I rewatched The Counsellor for the first time since my initial very disappointed viewing and was sad to say my opinion hadn't changed.

Sounds like the makings of one of the best films ever. Then the decision to cast Cameron Diaz as the mastermind villain absolutely f*cken ruined it. I both rue and lament the final product.

If they raged so much against Bush-era USA on American Idiot, imagine what they'd produce today if they were still at their creative peak.

I wanted to like them because they're west Aussies but no,cant
