Not sure why they would be paying Div 2 EDFL thirds players ?

Don’t think it would be a needle mover in my opinion. Just based off play HQ stats of course.

Their two main forwards are absent although they only played 18 games combined. Didnt stop the Richmond fella from getting a run though. Also House BnF winner and the best ruck I've seen in this comp in wotherspoon. Halloran an outstanding defender for them.

Bit of a joke line up when the comps best forward is named on a flank and you have players in this side that wouldn't go near getting a game for the top 3

Eastern or Southern? Been a few years since they re-branded and while results haven't been what they would've liked they are a very well run club.

If they did leave they'd (imo) have a better start to life than when Bulleen Temp left a few years ago. If they could crack the nut that is the uni, the club could be massive.

Bulleen's 1st year in Eastern was this year.
1st missed the finals by 1 game, 2nds made a PF and 19s made the GF.
Pretty good start in a new comp.

they finished 5th in a 7 team comp with the bottom team being a free win every week. Pumping the brakes on that bit, but super effort from the 2's to turn around losing by 300 twice in one year to making finals, good start by the 19s too. All about keeping them around now.

True, there is a big gap between the bottom 4 and top 3-4 in div 4.
I honestly thought they would get flogged most weeks because they were very ordinary in D2 ammos the year before.

There is a few ex juniors kicking around for them to try and get back.

But I find it funny that players can play juniors for say 100 games, Leave having had nothing to do with the senior club, play 150 games elsewhere in higher divisions then be welcomed back "Home" open armed as a 1 pointer.

Having two thirds teams instead of seniors/twos for more than one year was wrong, chaddy and EP battling it out down there, why can't they? I feel like a move to SFNL Div 4 would be better for them, the standard would be similar and way less travel/good chance to build some local rivalries
