Go on, would love to hear thisThere's murmurs about it in the background.
North looking to trade in as long as there's players still available on the clock on draft day. But they'd want 22 along with 10 as well.Go on, would love to hear this
Adelaide are shooting for 9, Pies would be stupid to. Who else?

Having 18, 37, 40, 45, 46 at the time of Dean bid wouldnt put you into deficit for himFor all the talk about clubs not rating this year's draft, if there's a player they like available, there'll be clubs that go for the immediate sugar hit.
We've got a slight advantage with 9, if we want to trade out, as its probably the first pick thats really gettable.
No chance is 9+11 for Adelaide 16 + F1 the deal. Not only is it way unders for the Blues, but leaves us unlikely to be able to match an ison bid and needing to go into deficit for Dean.
Doubt we use our F1 for that, we already have more picks than list spots this year. If we trade up it would be using our second rounders to a team needing points.North looking to trade in as long as there's players still available on the clock on draft day. But they'd want 22 along with 10 as well.
2 and 13 for 8, 37, and GC's F1?Something everyone is ignoring is Eagles want to trade back into the 2026 draft if we split pick 2.... so i suspect we find a way to do that overall.
Id be surprised if we still have pick 2 come the time to pick. Not really certain its Essendon it ends up with as I imagine Demons and Carlton have interest too
I think we will want to keep 13 still.2 and 13 for 8, 37, and GC's F1?
Melb get Robey and a later 1st for Pickett
WC get to trade back into the 2026 draft, can pick Farrow at 8 after his increased interest in recent times (mostly GWS), and get an extra pick for matching NGA bids.
Melbourne are considering offering the suns 2026 F1 and 37 to clubs to try get back into the draft in the late first round to draft Latrelle Pickett.
Reckon we might bite at that. Would do 11 for those 2 picks, which you think would guarantee Latrelle.
I’d be setting Eagles HQ on fire2 and 13 for 8, 37, and GC's F1?

devolves? it starts and ends like thatLove how every year this thread just devolves into list-manager role play and trade negotiations
I'm hoping he gets to the Giants, which seems unlikely, but I ve seen a couple mocks with that happening which is giving me hope.Experienced draft watchers on the Eagles site rate Cumming highly and would be happy using 2 on him.
Ex u18 coaches from Melbourne and they watch alot of u18 games.
I think that’s one of those situations where there’d be some hefty trade-up offers to those teams ahead of / to the giants. Sharp, CDT, Cumming, Taylor etc all falling out of their range would elicit some crazy offers imoI'm hoping he gets to the Giants, which seems unlikely, but I ve seen a couple mocks with that happening which is giving me hope.
What an awful trade, eagles are throwing in 2 for pick 8 for free apparently.2 and 13 for 8, 37, and GC's F1?

Very hard to see Carlton getting pick 2 and having enough points this year and then also picks for C.Walker next year. Probably rules them outSomething everyone is ignoring is Eagles want to trade back into the 2026 draft if we split pick 2.... so i suspect we find a way to do that overall.

Carlton currently have 2 first round picks in the 2027 draft, that will give them 1211 points to use as a deficit on matching Cody Walker. They can do what ever they want this year and next year, as long as they hold on to those two picks ad walk in to the 2026 draft with 1489 points.Very hard to see Carlton getting pick 2 and having enough points this year and then also picks for C.Walker next year. Demons 8 and F1 (Suns) does make a bit of sense
Do eagles want to go that far back? Its probably Grlj or Farrow at that pick
Where are you getting 1211 and 1489 from?Carlton currently have 2 first round picks in the 2027 draft, that will give them 1211 points to use as a deficit on matching Cody Walker. Future picks are valued at the last pick of each round. If a club has multiple picks in a round, such as the first round, picks are valued at pick 18, then 17 and so forth.Where are you getting 1211 and 1489 from?
The issue is Carltons entire points could be wiped on Dean then no points for Ison

If Freo draft him, he becomes a Kosi pony in a couple of years.I hope not. He looks ok but I feel his surname is over inflating his value a bit.
