Man you love the goss aha, you say it explains quite a bit... what's the short respectful version of what has now been made clearer?
Hey I didn’t say it explains anything that was wako. I was just providing some context I’ve been dying to get off my chest for the past week and a bit lol

Now how about Luke Ryan

I noticed Brisbane have picked up an 18 yo Gaelic rising star for 2006 ,Ben Murphy as a Cat b rookie.
Why aren't we proactive getting in these type of players from Ireland, for the mens and womens teams.
This is why Brisbane are premiers ,they get in the players.

How is he a player? He would be 38 next year?

It’s the Saints who have landed the best talent from Ireland this year. The young Mcdonald kid announced as a cat B rookie yesterday is outrageously talented. I believe there was 5 or 6 clubs chasing him. Nice little coup for the saints that one

It certainly is a good coup by Saints.

Fremantle would never have been in the market though.

Correct me if I’m wrong but each club has 2 Cat B rookie spots. We would be hoping Whan and Ryda Luke get through to Cat B rookie - well at least that is the hope and for that to happen we need to leave 2 Cat B rookie spots open.

There is a decent chance Whan is bid late in the ND at which time we will likely bid and change our list plans somewhat.

The ideal scenario is we take 2 selections where ever they fall (ie 24, 40), then add Whan and Luke as Cat B rookies and fill remaining list spots with Cat A rookies.

18 + 20 =38
Go to Brisbane's website:-
The Brisbane Lions have gone international in a bid to further improve their list, signing one of Ireland’s young rising Gaelic stars Ben Murphy.

Securing the talented 18-year-old’s signature as a Category B rookie comes almost two years after the Lions first identified the Kerry and Austin Stacks midfielder.
