See there is a huge gap between those, which is why definitions need to be asked. This shows that ha
Im unhappy taking any of that top group, im stoked with any of the bottom group at 5 or 6
cox was never the size and shape cdt is.Robey did test
3.12 - 20 m
6.45 - 2km
There have been a few guys like Cox who did alot of that and some would say he was a much better kick
T.Goad rucks that run sub 3 secs ect, would be plenty more that i cant think of right now
Maybe less kilos but similar height and better 2kmcox was never the size and shape cdt is.
i hear ya. i dont think any of those guys have the mass of CDT. many didn't run the 2k as well as CDT either.Maybe less kilos but similar height and better 2km
T.Goad
Bailey Williams
I.Keeler
G.Strumpf
H.Jones
Noah Pegoraro

No hateI don't understand the McMahon hate?
You don't think he could be an option as a 3rd forward in a F50 group of 6?
Dodoro would never of gotten us pick 6 the way Rosa did, and probably would have traded our picks last year for Houston. Not even Dodoro would give up two top 5 picks for CDT. Not worth it. At best trade one of 5 or 6 and a 2nd rounder.
But id keep 5, 6 and F1.
I also think McMahon is getting delisted, and doesn’t have a long term future here. I think the club is just going to hit the draft and eventually recruit a third tall forward.I don't understand the McMahon hate?

Houston didnt want to come to us, so that wouldnt have occuredDodoro would never of gotten us pick 6 the way Rosa did, and probably would have traded our picks last year for Houston.
Honestly think Caddy may be our 3rd tall forwardI also think McMahon is getting delisted, and doesn’t have a long term future here. I think the club is just going to hit the draft and eventually recruit a third tall forward.
Man why couldn’t we have overpaid for Dunkley and abandoned ShielHouston didnt want to come to us, so that wouldve have occured
Dodoro is bashed for Shiel, but he was the one that didnt want to give what we ended up paying, XavierC came in
Dodoro held off paying so much for Dunkley with 2 top 10s asked. Dunkley later went for far less
So he cant win anymore, either pays too much or doesnt pay at all
All i know is he had guys like Goddard, Stringer, Smith, Shiel and Dunkley ect want to get to the club at fairly avg times

I feel like Brad Scott still wants to go down the two ruck set up and hence why we’d be keen on CDT.Honestly think Caddy may be our 3rd tall forward
Hindsight always funMan why couldn’t we have overpaid for Dunkley and abandoned Shiel![]()
Doesnt really matter who the 3 talls areI feel like Brad Scott still wants to go down the two ruck set up and hence why we’d be keen on CDT.
So maybe we see Caddy as a secondary tall?
It would have just been Nick Cox and Hobbs, who we would have given up, whereas I think the picks we gave up for Shiel ended up being Butters and SerongHindsight always fun
We may have, had the Shiel deal never occured

.Certainly incorrectIt would have just been Nick Cox and Hobbs, who we would have given up, whereas I think the picks we gave up for Shiel ended up being Butters and Serong.
Even the picks we gave up for stringer ended up being Balta and TDK
Same boat here. And 2 of the Robey/Sharp/Cumming and I'm thrilledI said earlier in the thread I was all about the Sharp/Cumming combo.
Robey came in and wooed me with his size and traits but back to the Summings combo I go.
the picks we gave up for Shiel ended up being Butters and Serong![]()
Or we could spend the next ten years experimenting and being patient with more guys like Guelfi, Menzie, Davey, Gresham etc etc.essentially using 2 top 10 picks in consecutive years on small forwards is silly.
bringing in one of Robey or Cumming gives another fwd option as wellOr we could spend the next ten years experimenting and being patient with more guys like Guelfi, Menzie, Davey, Gresham etc etc.
Backline is okay and we'll pick up a quality mid. A group of quality smalls makes us potent, and Sweid, Kako and Dov can also play through the middle and bring a burst of speed through. I'm thinking Cameron, Bailey and Lohman as an example.
Equally it doesn't make sense to keep drafting wack smalls. Dov is high quality. He's a win.it's just doesn't make sense to allocate resources that way. used a top 10 pick basically on a small forward last year, let's try to find. we are also taking sweid and probably HEA ends up on some part of the list. that's two more players who are small and can play forward. we took Kako and unwin last year along with day-wicks who is also small and can play forward. you can't just keep drafting smalls who play forward until you get the best one in the comp with as many holes as we have.
Can you see how dynamic the mid / forward mix then becomes?bringing in one of Robey or Cumming gives another fwd option as well
Already getting two smalls with the NGA.Can you see how dynamic the mid / forward mix then becomes?
I reckon a Robey / Cumming + Dov addition would be super exciting, though I probably lean toward Robey.
Not opposed to any of the other top end players, just think Dov could be brilliant.
Plus Bewick and Darwish to come in 2027.Already getting two smalls with the NGA.
