Trading pick #11 that will probably become #16/#17 in a compromised draft for a pick in 1st in 2026 is going to be difficult
especially if you also want something back this year.
When people talk about this years picks being worth less due to being pushed back, it seems to get ignored that picks next year will be pushed back too.
Im sure in 2026 there'll be another 3-4 bid matches and 1-2 first round compos. If a club thinks they'll finish top 4, they'd be expecting their pick to be 18+.
Agree it'd be hard to get much back, but depends on who the club is, and whether there is competition for the pick.
