Yep, that F1 has quite a lot of value comparative to this awful draft.

If we were giving up our F1, I'd be asking for Melbourne's F2 back from the Suns but the timing will be out and therefore risk will be huge.

Blues don't have an F2, and Brisbane's F2 will be more like a third rounder.

Wouldn't be shocked if chatting to Jev is possibly just future planning to reunite the bros.

I'm not going to get too caught up in this, reckon there's big upside in some of these first rounders like Jevan or Ludowyke - but they are your regular second round flyers (like Boxshall or Dodson for example) rather than bonafide first round guns.

As if I think Phillipou is no good. I dont know about his brother as I haven't even followed the draftees.

We have 2frdp in King and Pou who if they get on the field are like extra free agents in effect. There will look a very different look and feel to our side next year. If Marshall can play the contested marking player from our exit kicks from defence then that allows King to stay deep in most cases one on one and that is a scary problem for a defense who wants to double up to solve.

Having a fit Pou and Flanders and adding I presume Fincher covers for a gallant but aging Steele and eveyones whipping boy Monty Byrnes. So I am not sure paying up for Pou 2 is a necessary requirement. As I hope the Pou's are not Ckarke brothers Mark 2. Only time will tell. Just think how much better we would be with Hobbs Sinn and Tsatas in our side.

Looking forward to 2026 and seeing now that RTB has the rabbits how and when he will pull them out of his hat.

After their aggressive trade and free agency period yielded four new recruits, St Kilda will approach this draft armed only with picks 50 and 65, but Cavanagh says the Saints might have one more surprise in them this off-season.

I was listening to K.Cornes last week, and he was going on about if Butters leaves, because he is a restricted free agent, Port will match what ever others clubs offer forcing a trade.

Cornes thinks he is worth at least 3 top 10 FRs.

Be interesting to see if we do trade a future first to get into this years draft to snag mini Pou?

If that happens, Walsh potentially more likely ?

Of course StKilda would never walk away from a deal that wasn't going their way. If that happened Port would be left paying big money for a guy who didn't want to be there.

If I were Port, I’d match - instead of getting 1 first rounder (compo), force the trade to get more..then it’s about negotiation of what is fair.

I think a 2028 and 29 first rounder and Isaac Keeler who we think is worth a first round pick should do it (for those who remember the Nas hypotheticals they threw out )

Just because clubs CAN trade 2-3 year's worth of first round picks doesn't suddenly mean every star is worth that much.

Butters is good but Chris Judd went for 3, 20 + an unproven Kennedy.

Even if we assumed Zak was just as good, that would mean a top 5 pick, an end of 1st round pick and Phillipou as the absolute most we would be paying.

The idea that Port should be getting 3x top 10 picks is ****ing insane.
