Why on earth is the Swans game in Sydney??? If they want to generate a rivalry after Curnow left then the obvious location for the game would be the MCG, drawing Carlton supporters to the game to boo Curnow (not that I would)......

I hate that the AFL are trying to manufacture a rivalry when realistically the only reason Charlie went to Sydney is because they were the team who could give us the best deal.

I don't wish any negativity on the bloke but I'd laugh if Charlie doesn't play and it blows up in the AFLs face.

Remember when the AFL season would start between the middle of March and as late as March 29th? Now because of this Round 0 BS the season starts closer to the end of February than when it traditional starts.

Yep if they wanted a rivalry it should’ve been us v Stains. TDK, JSOS, Dow, Stocker,Carrol (odds 3-4 play), with SOS perhaps finally smiling in the stands.

Play 6 games at MCG one year then 6 at Marvel the next year. It alternates year to year
