Is Cumming a tad overrated as a inside mid here? As a half frwd who can be effective around F50 and a bit up the ground, yes, he's very very good at that, considering he was AA in that position but as a prime inside mid , he has a few years to go imo.
Farrow is a attacking half back and you'd like to think the club that picks him better have better inside mid options.

Why does Zane Peucker not make it into your rankings list? I thought he had a very good national championships.
He was good but I query what his AFL level weapon is, nothing in particular left a lasting impression that he was anything more than a state league player

A lot of people have X Taylor going to the Tigers. However we have spent first rounders on Gibcus and Trainor in the last few years and they all seem to have very similar traits. What makes them different (if anything) and if you had to to line them up to be drafted in their draft years what order would you have them?

hey mate . Thoughts on Josh Lindsay ? Seen dogs linked a few times. Apologies if already been covered here
Really good kick but rather one paced with good but not exceptional defensive craft or contested game, if his defensive stuff improves can see him being a really nice piece long term

I think itd ideally be Gibcus taking the #1 forward and Taylor taking #2 to allow Trainor to run off

We actually have spent 2st round picks on 3 in recent years Brown , Gibcus , Trainor and all can play the intercept role
The Taylor interest seems strange unless the club see's some ability to play Wing/Mid

Balta & Miller will take the #1 & #2 fowards (KPD's) and both have 6+ years left

He’s your prototype midsize defender. Think a Sicily or Stuart type. Trainor is as well to some degree. Most teams tend to carry 2 in the back 7.

Brown also plays that role so we really have 3 already and Gibcus is also a beautiful intercept mark with good pace and probably the best of the lot at 196cm also. Just hope his injuries are now all done

Yeah injuries suck. Hope he gets healthy too.

You also just drafted a bunch of Ruck Forwards last year and I’d assume one of them will fail as a forward and get tried at KPD at some point where they will succeed.

Honestly hope you pass on X Taylor as I’d love him at Essendon. Just can’t see it though.

I hope we take Robey and 1 of Cumming/Sharp as that would just about complete the midfield with what it looks like in 4 years. Sharp , Cumming , Hotton , Smillie , Lalor , McAuliffe and maybe 1 more speedster next year

We drafted just 1 Ruck last year Tom Sims who is a Ruck Foward and Faull / Armstrong are just KPF's
We also have Fawcett as a KPF & Lefau which would most likely be the 2 that would be looked at as being KPD if they get pushed out of the foward line but we are pretty set there for KPD also with Miller , Balta , Gibcus , Gray , Trainor

Area's of need
2 -3 Inside mids
1 x mature Ruck 23/25 year old ( Ryan doesnt look like getting there )
1 x Small foward thats zippy and classy
2 Outside Wing with pace

I feel like everyone is obsessed with Cumming. TBH, I just don't think the skills are there to take him all the way.
Most people are premature...Going to be a big flop, leaving a lot of people disappointed.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 yeah just like the same people who think sharp isnt that good ? Going to make people look like fools

Reporter: “So, are you considering pairing Cumming with Sharp?”

Recruiter: “No comment. We tried that in simulations and it got flagged for explicit content. Only Adelaide seemed interested, which tells you everything you need to know.”

At this stage of the rebuild I d have thought they'd just pick best available (whoever they think it is)

Hey Mr PMBangers.

Can I get a list of small/medium defenders and mids who have the following prerequisites.
  • Fast
  • Good overhead mark
  • Junkyard dog attitude
  • Prefer also a good kick, but not necessary
  • Want to defend

Kids who aren't likely to be first round picks, and they don't need to be ball pigs.

Cheers

If there was another Darcy Wilmot in this draft that would be great yep

To think no one wanted Wilmot in he’s draft year he wasn’t even rated in the top 25 at the time
Hey eDPS I was going to ask you as well. Not looking for another Wilmot, looking for a Starcevich replacement down back.
