F1 for J Phillipou is very risky tbh
Would that mean we go to the draft with 11 and 16?

Great workHey guys,
Bit of a shameless plug here, but i just uploaded a video on my youtube channel in regards to Adelaide's draft hand and reasonable expectation of what and who the Adelaide crow's fans can expect to be available when the Crow's pick rolls around.
I also explored the option of trading for Carlton's pick 9 and another later pick trade with another club that would make sense for both parties. and why.
Please check it out and let me know what other options you think are available for Adelaide's list manager on draft night.
Channel is SotaramAFL.
thanks.
The proposed trade is F1 for Pick 11. With probably 48/55 thrown in.No its just to bump up the order for the second pick crows will use. I think crows would be crazy to trade away the future first rounder for such a small payoff.

We won't know who slips to 11 when we have to do the deal. The proposed trade is F1 for Pick 11. With probably 48/55 thrown in.
If that pick is for Sharp I would do it. If it's not Sharp, no deal.
I'll be shocked if Essendon don't pick Sharp. He's not gonna be available at pick 9 let alone 11We won't know who slips to 11 when we have to do the deal.
But I am 100% sure that none of Sharp, Cumming, Grilj, Farrow (all of whom I would trade a future first for), Schubert or Dovaston will be available at 11.
It's a hard no for me.
Even at 9, only 2 of those above will be there, and Sharp and Cumming are the least likely.
Threadgolds kicking action is awful.A few draft tidbits that don't fit into their own individual posts:
1. Tidbit 1
The Age (Marc McGowan) has Melbourne linked to bolters Cam Nairn, Threadgold, and Pickett. May be potential for them to pull a surprise and draft one of them with one of their two top picks. They had them taking Nairn with one of them, and Dovaston with the other. May shake up a few people's mocks slightly if that ends up happening.
2. Tidbit 2
Both The Age, and Zerohanger have us linked to Threadgold if we stay at 16. He feels like a Hamish pick, so wouldn't surprise me if he does end up being the man they want.
3. Tidbit 3
Was looking at Marsh as a prospect again on the weekend.
Interesting that in the Vic Country game, he got beaten a few times aerially by Dean early in the game, before beating him easily on the lead multiple times as the game wore on. Then, in the Westies vs Sturt game, Marsh had very little impact when matched up on Threadgold. Can't read too much into individual games, but was interesting to note nonetheless from a drafting and matchups perspective.
Not really sure a key defender is worth a first round pick, feels like a bit of a waste in a shallow draft given most of them don't come on until 3-4 years in the system and even then you can get one on the cheap, especially if they are a list filling two's player like Borlase.Dont know much about Threadgold, If he is a key defender is there a possibility we look at him expecting to trade out one of Murry, Keane, Butts next year or develop him while delisting Borlase?
Thredgold as a draft prospect shouldn't be mentioned in any discussion with Borlase, Thredgold has speed and athleticism James can only dream about sadly. Not really sure a key defender is worth a first round pick, feels like a bit of a waste in a shallow draft given most of them don't come on until 3-4 years in the system and even then you can get one on the cheap, especially if they are a list filling two's player like Borlase.
If that's actually the case I can't see why the ACL would change anything at that point in the draft. It's not as though the likelihood is great of a player taken at #16 is going to be a walk up start come round 1 2026.Harley Barker until ACL was our #1 target at 16
The only one out of that lot that gives me any excitement is Sharp.Mail says Sharp has slid in projections
If we trade with Carlton , dont be shocked if still a chance
will be either Sharp / Schubert
then 16 is Phillipou/Sumner-Pickett
Schubert would be greatThe only one out of that lot that gives me any excitement is Sharp.
Granted I haven’t watched any footage and am just going on reports from others. But yeah Philipou saying he hates Adelaide isn’t great…
Schubert would be great
Fog, TT, Schubert
Thats KPF sorted for next decade
Sharp dishing out to Draper, Curtin and Rankine also sorts out our mids for the next decadeSchubert would be great

You could well be right. And I’m sure Hamish and the club know what they are doing. Just interesting because there seems to be a lot of chat about his poor kicking technique.Schubert would be great

If that happens, personal preference would be Marsh and Onley.Mail says Sharp has slid in projections

I'm more interested in what positionCat B

Not that I have seen much but I think if he has a tank playing that 3rd Key Forward role, ala Tom Lynch circa 2013-2017I'm more interested in what position![]()
