If only that was all of them, I'll add a few names (before I do a deep dive into < 2000).We could assemble a 2000s "not really interested in making the team competitive" best 22 for the ages.
Fisher
Logue
Stephenson
M.Powell
Taylor
Wilkinson
Bosenavulagi
Brad Scott
Rich pickings if you're looking for guys who enjoy the VIP tickets and various Ponzi schemes that come come with a bit of time on an AFL list. Or just fancy doing something else with their time.
While we pay them.

I did feel a little bit dirty writing Jack, but he never was fit enough despite playing some great football.Geeze harsh!
Good to see a bit of Arjen at last.
Was worried you'd gone full Kool Aid lately.

I thought you were a bit off writing Jack and Scotty McMahon to be honest.I did feel a little bit dirty writing Jack, but he never was fit enough despite playing some great football.
Geelong stole Brad Sholl, Leigh Tudor and Darren Steele from us. Animals. Not enough is made of this concerted attack on our depth.
We did get them back by stealing their captain. And I'm not sure they stole them, I just looked up the trade.I did feel a little bit dirty writing Jack, but he never was fit enough despite playing some great football.

lol, Scotty McMahon, I always liked him, but again... much like some of our current players, he never pushed the envelope in terms of fitness (I feel).I thought you were a bit off writing Jack and Scotty McMahon to be honest.
And Liam Anthony deserves his own place in history at NMFC with a statue out the front.
I'm sure there would be 1 poster from the other 17 clubs that could make a similar type of list for their team.If only that was all of them, I'll add a few names (before I do a deep dive into < 2000).

I just need to be more selfishRemember the halcyon days of Wellsy burning up the track and thinking this was his year.
Wasn't it in one quarter.Kicked 5 on thingo Cooney you know![]()
Who would you be referring to.Seems to be excellent attendance. Easier to state who wasn't there.
Nah no one. Fisher, Logue, Scott, Comben, Zurhaar, Jy, Parker, X, Larkey all there and they didn't have to be.Who would you be referring to.
I heard at the time that pickering asked for 2 extra weeks of pre-season so he could play district cricket, so Schimma packaged him up in a deal they were already doing and said see ya later. Not sure if true but I reckon he won Geelong's bnf a few years later, could have been a handy addition to a bloody strong North team.We did get them back by stealing their captain. And I'm not sure they stole them, I just looked up the trade.
In: Pick 123 (Marty Christensen)
Out: Liam Pickering, Darren Steele, Leigh Tudor (Geelong)
Also, you need to add Marty to your list.
A finer whipping boy you struggle to find. And Liam Anthony deserves his own place in history at NMFC with a statue out the front.
