What we’ve done in the past is nominated a placeholder player (like Tom McDonald or some old player with little fantasy value) to represent Binns. You’ll need to keep McDonald (for example) on your list as that placeholder. If you delist him, then it’s like you’ve delisted Binns. If Binns re-enters the comp via SSP then we swap him out. I can’t remember which player we did it for in the past or who was the placeholder but it’s how we’ve managed it previously when a player wasn’t available in the fantasy roster but was still a going concern and their manager wanted to keep them. What's our ruling with delisted players being a train-on player for a club in the off-season?
Ie. I have Jaxon Binns and he mutually left Carlton, but is now training with Essendon (VFL mind you) as a possible SSP option after the draft.
I'd imagine Keeper will cut the delisted players off lists on the platform at some point. But if I want to keep him or his spot for post-draft rather than having to cut him and then hope for the best when he's re-added to the game, do we have a plan?
NOTE: This could all be bypassed if Essendon signed or drafted him prior to the SSP time beginning. But just looking at all options.
