I like gather round but i've only ever been to the first one where we played the Dogs, which i don't think we had to pay any extra for. I figure i'm better off trying to get to the games that i've already paid for before forking out extra for gather round.

As a regional supporter i miss a heap of regular season games that I've paid for just because i can't get to it, so the sunday night gather round games are not at all enticing for me.

But i still appreciate that it is a good thing for the state and gives us an extra home game, which we've used to our advantage by going 3 zip in gather round games.

To be fair, thank christ theyve finally got rid of that garbage season opener. Was ridiculous those teams got that privilege and has been nothing but a shambles.

The graveyard Gather Round closer slot against a rubbish drawing opponent is a shocker from the AFL, first off the SA clubs shouldn't be anywhere near the Sunday slots & Gather Round fatigue for all fans is well and truly underway by the last game.

I don't mind gather round existing. But I am not going to watch us play StK on a Sunday night. I'll leave that to the more motivated fans.
