25 and another pick around 25 doesn’t even equal pick 11 in points value so it will have to be more than that. Also opens the door to the eagles trade.
Give 10 and 59 for 13 and 34.
Trade 22/34 for 18 and 52.

Take 13/18/52/66 to the draft.
Figure we get 2 of NHH Marsh Greeves Philippou Barker Lindsay Addinsall at those 2 picks and 52 comes into mid 40s someone like Rory wright Hetherton or Sam Allen. Keep our f1 for another play for an established mid.

Essendon will have to let Sweid go if he gets bid on around 22 if they execute that trade.

This is great news. Addinsall looks like a genuine footballer and would suit our style. Tested well too. Given players like Cumming, Sharp, and Grlj are all likely to be gone by our first pick, I would not hesitate to bid on him at Pick 10 (probably 14 after the initial bids).

I can just imagine the outrage it would cause if that happened, and I would absolutely love it. Sam's the type of guy to be ruthless if he has to be, so I really hope he gives MM the nod. Surely Addinsall ranks highly on the club's list.

As for the other two, I wouldn't mind them either. Jai Murray & Jai Newcombe would be a combo! Koby Coulson won GC academy player of the year, which says something.

I just like the look of Addinsall, I think he would complement Day, Nuke, Ward and co. Also, as the post above mentions, I did also hear the Suns would prioritise Murray if it came down to having to let one of the boys go.

Addinsall reminds me of Lachie Neal. He has the low to the ground bent knee running style. His disposal by hand and foot looks really good and he is pretty nippy. I'd be wrapped if we snaffled him.

On Onley. Watching his highlights he seems to read the play quite well to go along with his naturally given athletic gifts. I'm very keen. I can see him getting taken in the 30's which might pose a problem for us unless trades are had and we end up with a pick in that range.

I don’t think we would go a developing Ruckman when we have 4 rucks already.

Addinsall is a good call. Haven't done any research on him as I thought the suns would grab him but, if we were to bid on him at ten or 22 they may not be able to match it anyway. Does anyone have any insight on what type addinsall is?

If Bombers trade up I think they’ll take Doveston.
Melbourne is the hard team to pick… Maybe Nairm. And not sure who else. Maybe Farrow if he’s there.

It is interesting how opinions are different, I would like to know why we need outside runner who needs to polish his kicking. We seem to have plenty of outsider runners. Is Jai the only real ball winner, surely will need at least one more to assist him. The list of outside midfielders / wingers / hybrid fwd,mid that we have are endless: Morrison, Impey, Amon, Day, Moore, D'Ambrosio, J Ward, Mackenzie, Butler, MacDonald.

Beau Addinsall
182cm, inside / outside mid. More of a link player than a burst player. Has neat skills and hits his target on most occasions, though prefers the short pass to the long kick.

Notable game: In Round 6 of the 2025 Coates Talent League, Addinsall had 35 disposals, 8 clearances, 5 inside-50s, and went at a disposal efficiency of 77.1%.

National combine results:

• 2km time trial 5th. 6:15... good endurance
• Vertical jump: 8th. 71cm... a good leap without being exceptional
• Running verticals jump: 7th. 88cm ... again a good number.

- His 20m sprint was outside the top 10 with the 10th fastest being 2.93s. An A.I. estimated 20 meter sprint range is 3.00 to 3.07 seconds.

Potentially not. I personally wouldn't take him with our second. Think there will be better players still on the board.

Id be surprised if bombers don't go the 3 eastern boys in robey, taylor and dovaston if they deal for 9. Looking something like this minus bids.
