wouldn't the North deal for 11, be there 25 and 26, then there future 2nd. That seems to match points a little better
I am probably joining two and two and making five. But my guess is that we are either: a) hoping Pickett slips, as C4 suggests; or b) using a later pick on the Geelong VFL small forward with whom we have been linkedCan we draft someone like Dovaston if the rumoured pick swaps occur?
I am sorry for losing the thread on this one, C4. But do we currently have a 2026 2nd round pick?25, 46 + F2

Im ok with that. 46 comes in a fair bit. I just hope we dont give the Dons all our late picks back and end up stretched for Ison anyway.25, 46 + F2

This hits the nail on the head. Great analysis. No denying they look good, but also feel we are paying a premium which is not ideal and restricting us from bringing in more quality young talent.
Interestingly Gold Coast has two top 10 players to bring in and look likely to obtain them, they look like they managed their draft hand better than us we gave away too many picks in the middle end of the draft which has restricted us.
We used that on Ainsworth. Not sure why tbh. We should've kept will White and saved that pick and the extra 400k in salary.I am sorry for losing the thread on this one, C4. But do we currently have a 2026 2nd round pick?
Are our chances of drafting Lindsay pretty much 0 now?
So so are likely heading into the draft with 21, 25, 27, 30, 46
Potential to walk away with Dean, Ison, F2 .. and potentially Pickett/Ludowyke (both I think will slide to the mid-late 20s.).
Not behd.
Not sure we’ll be getting that extra player in the 20s
Explain!
Yes. But could easily have been off the board before our pick comes in anywayAre our chances of drafting Lindsay pretty much 0 now?
Just 21 and 27 for 9? Surely there's 30 involved.Per Twomey’s report, Essendon is the “frontrunner” to land the ninth overall selection in a deal that would see it send its late first-rounder (no.21) and early second-rounder (no.27) to the Blues.
You think 43 gets shipped out in the * deal?So so are likely heading into the draft with 21, 25, 27, 30, 46

Im not sure, but they’d need something for Sweid.

I have no idea how it would work without 30Yeh I thought 21, 27, 30 for 9 and 43. 54 would be great for us instead of the 43 but both picks will come in you'd think. Either way needs to be a point surplus for us.HmmmmI have no idea how it would work without 30
