This was from a while back but I do remember when Nat Fyfe was desperate to get to Richmond in the 2009 draft. We ended up taking Ben Griffiths instead.

Well to be fair Fyfe was not rated as high a Reid was for most the draft year, he was a massive slider baffling really.
people thought he was too small or slim, but you have the skills your good enough for AFL imo.

Not saying going for Richmond should be the overriding factor but the fact that Xavier Taylor is seriously talented and rated highly is a no brainer to pick him. with Robey if CDT is not there. I am all for the best available. list needs is what trading is for.

Whichever team the player supported growing up should be completely irrelevant when coming into drafting calculations.

Literally the only player I can think of who influenced a move based on who he supported as a kid is Jack Higgins and he has the IQ of a pea
