We keep going around in circles with this Essendon or Melbourne trading up scenario. The reality is that there is currently 3 players considered to be at the top in this draft. There is no way Essendon or Melbourne are trading up for Sharp, XT or Cumming. Dursma will gone at 1 and that leaves CDT or Robey. One will be left for us regardless of a WC trade and I can not see us letting that player go. However, in the event that a great offer comes in we just sit back and reap the benefit. If not CDT Or Robey it is.My gutfeel is WCE want Sharp but don't want to take him at 2 and would ideally want to take him at 5. The issue I think with this is Essendon will trade up for Robey (not CDT) but I think we'd be keen on this situation on taking Sharp and Cumming (or atleast bluffing to prevent WCE in doing that trade) thus no mids left at 5. Due to this I think WCE will begrudgingly take Sharp at 2. This probably leaves 3 open for trade and I can see Essendon trading up for Robey at pick 3 with 6 9 (think we will push hard for 5 though). Understand the fanfare surrounding CDT but I just can't make an argument for WCE taking him, he will take 3yrs to develop and Dursma probably takes 2, can WCE win 20 games in the next 3yrs to show Reid enough? I'm not sure they can with CDT but I'm confident they can get closer to that with Sharp. I think this draft is the most important draft WCE have probably ever had and if they screw it up they are going to struggle for the next decade with Tasmania coming in.
And all you do is speak shit and belittle other people. Just shows what a real trashbag of a human being you are! The definition of the word Flog!Folks only watch the shite you post cause they feel sorry for you. All you do is summarise other people’s work
For mine I am happy to hold Smillie as a player. Obviously I am not fretting at the moment. Smillie in my world can play back orforward, midfield and other places, or a combination, I am not stamping Smillie as this or that yet especially solelyWhat an interesting take
As long as you dont get his mate aflratingspete that he does his AFL Fantasy pod with on as well...As an fyi, Jeppa is on a live with me and Scooter from Essendon tomorrow night, he is fantastic.
Not Sharp. That's why this unfortunately is a draft that is not loaded with midfielders and therefore is the year you go for other types.Apart from Patterson who has good pace with a good kick?
No current season stats available
Yes! Lord of the flogs big notes himself daily and talks about how important he is, but in reality he really is a 45 year old bloke, that's the number 3 frie cook at Mcdonalds and lives in a bungalow in his mums backyard in Moe! 100% accurate mail.Does anyone here actually have real mail?
I understand your point. But I’d suggest being the best at playing football is, in itself, a star attribute. Please no Sharp as he has no star attributes.
Smillie is not an elite runner, which is needed for the wing role. Those people have no imaginative thought process.
Dan curtin does it, why can’t Smillie?!
At this stage I’d just take Smillie on the parkSmillie on wing...

Robey seems more a Fogarty type then midfielder

Is that why he's the number 1 pick?I understand your point. But I’d suggest being the best at playing football is, in itself, a star attribute.
Lachlan?Robey seems more a Fogarty type then midfielder
