Final pick only for me.

Love the fact he came out and improved/worked on his running, obviously hungry for a chance.

I thought he was much better last year as a defender, that's what got him into the AFL Academy and projected him as 1st round contender at that stage. Was reading the play, coming off his man and intercepting.

We must have some interest if we've been in recent contact.

We are in greater need of KPD depth (Butts might leave soon), so that works for us

Maybe this having to take 3 live picks is not really a thing. Cant see us upgrading any rookies. All i can find is that you must have 3 available list spots to participate in the draft. Not that you must use all three. You can pass on the final and keep it for later.

Brisbane’s second key forward in last years GF stands at 191cm. 2 key forwards only, 194cm and 191cm contributed 1.2 and 19 disposals. I guess they fluked it too. But we’re the geniuses with our 3 key forwards and glacial forward defensive action.

Lol what a silly thing to say.

Brisbane had 2 tall forwards and 2 ruckman, last year was 3 tall (191+).

These are both on in line with most other premiership teams, and distinctively different Richmond 2017, who went got another key forward as soon as they could.

Brisbane playing a couple of mediocre talls proves my point , not yours. They value their structural importance over their talent.

Only someone with an obsession with ignoring empirical data would believe the opposite.

Am i right in saying an SSP train on player joins as a rookie if signed? Which we have no spots for and therefore would need to upgrade?
Yes.

My read is that the plan is to take 2, upgrade a rookie, and look at an SSP option to fill that rookie spot.

But that the plan is flexible enough that if someone they like slides, they can just take 3 picks.

Could also open up a spot in the rookie list for Mitch Stevens if he gets through and Hamish and the crew rate him at all.

C4[2]Yo`DooR Seems pretty early for the pick 9 and 11 trades to be talked about as near done deals in the media. Are they done, or is Carlton just trying to inject some FOMO into the market for their picks?

With his comments on dislike of the Crows I really hope we don’t pick him.
I know it’s in vogue to talk yourself up but this is in another category of knob factor.
