I think we overlook Robey. Would have loved to try trade with the Dees and get 7 and 8 but Cumming or Taylor likely gone then

My take on the video is everyone in that room knew it's Robey, Taylor and Cumming (in that order).

I think they are just hedging in case Essendon throw a hail mary at West Coast, or Melbourne throw one at us. Looks like they know who West Coast are going to pick.

If I am West Coast i'm picking CDT #1, in anticipation that the Bummers may do something stupid to "get the boys in the same team". And if Essendon have an attack of sanity, simply pick Duursma at #2 and it's our turn to let the phone ring.

After the giesh interview you'd have to say XT is a lock - 'plays richmond style footy', 'great character' and provides a need. With that in mind we'd definitely be looking to either trade our second pick (if we get an golden offer - Essendon offer us pick 9 and something sweeeet) or go with a pure mid which is probably Cumming. I'd say Robey is unlikely now.

I don’t believe from what he said he’s ruling out Duursma or CDT. He said it’s getting a little clearer who west coast might take so they can start honing in on who of that 8-9 (including academy kids) they will take.

In the mix for pick 3 and 4, and before that they mention they have a good idea who West Coast are taking.
I interpreted to not include CDT and Duursma.

Why would he narrow down the players to 4 or 5 if it included 2 that we weren't going to get.

Them idiots believe essendon is doing the trade so they can offer 5 & 6 to move up to 2 but would need to add a F1 to get CDT. But most still want Sharp but want to get 2 extra 1st for a player they think is the next Blicavs

Pure mids aren’t what teams want.

I don’t think cumming or Robey are pure mids at all either. But the term pure mid is the player the game is going past at a rate of knots.

Personally im hoping for a Robey/Cumming combination but most likely 1 wont be taken and we will draft Taylor
leaning towards thinking its Robey/Taylor due to the 2 being Vic boys from the same team

Whats the Essendon one? Heard 21 and 27 only, which doesnt make sense. 9 43 46 for 21 27 30 makes sense.
