Noosaboy,
I think Fults was around 720 and then he kicked another 350 odd for Robina in the lower division ,, so he kicked well over a 1000 goals in his career and at South Warrambool he bagged a ton before moving to qld .
2010 Premier would have a more accurate total
A bit off topic, but I noticed former Number 1 draft pick Jon Patton is playing for Robina this year (same with Jarrod Hardbrow).

Guessing Patton just doesn't have the desire to play high level anymore.

Where is Toucan to provide the stats on this?
Ha!
Well, LaggingBehind , I won't be much help for you on this.
Pretty much all my focus is on clubs, rather than individuals. I actually hope that individual clubs keep their own records for info like goalkickers (I know a lot don't - and if they do, what happens to all that info when a club folds?)
Quite often, especially for non-QAFL comps, it is difficult to even find results.

Tom Hickey back at palmy next season after a year off.

Should be broken down into Senior and Junior Football.
hang on , there are some stats on junior league ,, not full on but why would you bother ,,, have a look at Hammelmans PLAY HQ report,, contains his under 16 stats for Morningside and tyen upwards from there. I was able to calculate his senior goalkicking total so far usuing this and that did not include the goals he has kicked at Rep level which are also noted on the app

I’m really excited to see what Darren Winter can do with Noosa. Great coaching resumé from the apple isle… could be what the QAFL needs - an injection of talent from a other state!

Go vultures!

Darren Winter is a fantastic coach. No doubt he will get a great buy in and have players playing above what they thought their ceiling was

I believe AFLQ strictly forbid the entering of best players and goalkickers in the system.

Which is why the career totals should be

Seniors
Juniors
AFLQ consider Juniors to be Auskick age and YOUTH to be competitive Under 13's-Under 17s/18's, and best players and goalkickers are entered for youth competitions

If you look at youth football, goalkickers and best players have not been entered for nearly 10 years.

I am aware of some clubs entering the information, and AFLQ going in and actively deleting it

No they’re not. We’re under strict instructions from comp managers not to enter goal kickers and best players for youth

I’ve just moved up from regional VIC. What’s the standard of SEQ footy like? Where would QAFL / QFA div 1 sit against VIC Premier Football? (Geelong, Ballarat, Goulburn Valley etc.)

QAFL would be weaker than the O&M

Similar to GFL and GVFL for mine, but much faster paced.

QFA Div 1 is a big step down

It’s the old debate that pops up every now and then.

I think all would agree the QAFL is different to the footy down south, due to climate and ground sizes which are generally fairly big in comparison to Melbourne grounds in particular. Therefore it tends to be quicker footy up here.

The top end in strong comps such as O&M would be similar or possibly a touch stronger (maybe?) but I’m pretty certain depth wise the QAFL is a lot stronger than the country leagues, through mainly sheer weight of numbers, so overall I think it would be overall slightly QAFL higher.

I saw on the AFL website that QLD is now second to VIC now surpassing WA in terms of playing participants, and unlike down south, the QAFL is the only comp at a good standard, it drops off pretty quickly.

How do you guys reckon QAFL stacks up to suburban Melbourne comps.

NFNL, EDFL And even VAFA

Pretty similar to all of them, but maybe with a bit more depth.

All of those comps have a fair few VFL listed players filtering through as well as ex listed VFL/AFL players - but they play on postage stamps, and the bottom 6 in many teams are very ordinary, but the Top 6 are elite.
