It’s ridiculous.Happening in both the women's/men's but there's a lot of upsets going on at the moment. I suspect some tired bodies after a gruelling calendar of tennis this year.
Yep, completely absurd.It’s ridiculous.
US open finishes then it’s straight in Davis Cup. Then ATP500s and 1000 this week.
I mean they’re not really forced to.Yep, completely absurd.
I follow the WTA more but someone like Swiatek has gone straight from the Seoul Open to the Wuhan Open and now the Ningbo tournament starts.
Forcing them to play these events are just insane. How do you want them to perform at their best when they're not getting decent recovery time.

The 4 grand slams are mandatory, as are the 10 x 1000 level tournaments.I mean they’re not really forced to.
But the implications of keeping their 12 month ranking points is so huge.
That celebration from ADF is cold.
soon to be 0-6 when Fritz beats him.
Didn't drop a set all the way to the final I think he entered the final on a 15 match winning streak
He's a freak Sinner can't see anyone else getting close to beating him other then Carlos
Seems like Chris Eubanks is retiring at age 29.
I didn't think he was that old, turns out he's not. Don't really recall him having a lot of issue with injury either. That was half rumoured 6 months ago was on commentary in the US Open a bit thought that was strange

Might just be a hunger thing.
I can't believe I'm writing this but... Leyton Hewitt has officially come out of retirement to play doubles with his son Cruz in the NSW Open challenger event. They play their first round match at approximately 1pm today and they've got a decent chance of winning given the quality of their opponents. Hard to believe that we're living in an era of professional sport that sees father-son combinations like Lleyton-Cruz and LeBron-Bronny playing together at the highest level.

Lleyton Hewitt ends retirement for very special comeback
The 44-year-old is racing from a Hall of Fame dinner to make his official return in a father-son pairing.7news.com.au
Yeah I suspect Cruz will get another men's singles wildcard (like this year) and play main draw doubles. Most likely with his father. Then he can have a real crack at winning the junior AO in his last attempt next year.He played well. I sure he would like to do it at the AO as well.
You would think the plan for Cruz this AO would be Men's singles qualifying and then try to give him some exposure with a wildcard in the doubles with someone.
