Yep anyone doubting Sharps talents just needs to spend a few minutes looking at the noobermensch highlight tape. His hands in tight are elite, and he’s usually got someone hanging off him as he does it. Goes hard at it too.
Munkara was on the list for one year (2023). Interesting how all of McDonald-Tipungwuti, Munkara, Mosquito, ADJ and Jayden Davey all either haven't been professional enough, or left the club due to a lack of desire to continue an AFL career. Essendon needs to do better.

The arrogance to tell redman that he would play in our backline because our backline needs some work is the exact attitude we need, no sugar coating just straight to the point! If you’re playing like shit he’ll be the first to tell you to get your finger out your ass.

Yes and I can't seperate Robey or Taylor to the Tigers as the other one, either way we will get a top player coming to us with our first pick.Who do you have Richmond taking ? So I’m assuming Cumming as one ?

Dov has shown more then Pickett is what i am trying to imply hereSo, you want a realistic, down to earth show, that's completely off the wall and swarming with magic robots
If Mosquito didnt lose his condition he could have made it back.I still reckon Mosquito makes it if he doesn't cop a LTI!
Yeah. He's more than capable of lacing someone out. Just spends so much time in the guts you don't see it much. I called Tsatas a bad kick as soon as we drafted him (you can find it in his thread on the first few pages). Sharp is not a bad kick.Very limited sample but his kicking seems fine, the action doesn't look deeply flawed like Tsatas or Dylan Clarke.
Hes been linked to westcoast and they have pick 34 which will come inside top 30 after bit matching..and Addinsall likely comes at pick...?
Absolutely agree.I agree with the bolded, but it's also a league wide problem. There's a level of support these guys coming from remote communities and pretty different cultures need that a lot of other draftees don't.
There's the 'infamous' comments from Adam Simpson that were probably worded poorly but raised an accurate issue:

There's been a few articles over the last few years that's raised it as an AFL wide issue to tackle:

It’s clear footy has an Indigenous participation problem, and the AFL draft is only part of the solution

I don't have the answers, but if the AFL wants to keep Aboriginal players a prominent part of the game, they need to do something beyond just hoping clubs will draft them.
What confuses me most is why Cal had Cumming at 7 and Robey at 8, he kinda makes it sound like he’s the one that’s locked and he’s most unsure on Robey and Taylor for 8. I’ve been reading Richmond’s board the last couple weeks and from what I gather from their board is usually they never interview late on prospects unless they’re being told they’re drafted. They’ve been saying Robey isn’t someone they’ve put a lot of work in, and that maybe the data they’ve collected isn’t a big enough sample size.Yes and I can't seperate Robey or Taylor to the Tigers as the other one, either way we will get a top player coming to us with our first pick.
Aboriginal players play a practice match every year against an AFL club.TBH, I would love the Dreamtime game played in NT every year and instead of State of Origin (dead as a dodo IMO) play a game between Aboriginal players vs All Stars.
No way we would pick Dovostan at 10? I don’t believe that for a second, Essendon would select Farrow at 10 and would hope Sharp fell at 13 if they did it. Essendon would select Pickett at 13 if Dovostan didn’t make it, and these Code sport guys were saying Sharp and Schubert to us at 5 and 6, whilst we were 100% trading 21 and 27 for 18 and 36.Code sports just did a phantom draft. It’s basically identical to Twomeys until pick 15. Except we take Sharp with pick 13 and Dovaston with 10. Maybe they made that switch to avoid a plagiarism charge?

They’ve always said that they don’t leak information to cal or anyone and they used the Bo Allan and Shanahan examples last year. It’s why I think Cal is very unsure and the only thing he’s mentioned about Cumming is you don’t go on a plane to see someone just to interview them late, it’s to tell them you’re drafting them.
I think it will either be Sully and Taylor or Sully and Cumming as the combo in my opinion. I would put money on it being Sully and Taylor, cause the other recruiters have been saying Richmond should take Sully and Taylor.
Naw it was Cumming, Taylor and Robey with maybe Farrow.Didn't Twomey say he has NFI about who Richmond will take beyond it almost certainly being two of Robey, Cumming, Taylor, Grlj and maybe Farrow and so he just took a best guess?
Dovaston is also best mates with Xavier Taylor.Didn't Twomey say he has NFI about who Richmond will take beyond it almost certainly being two of Robey, Cumming, Taylor, Grlj and maybe Farrow and so he just took a best guess?

Honestly I think Richmonds picks will be harder to settle on than ours, sure we get the left overs but I think either way we will come away with either a quality mid or 2 or the other scenario would be a quality mid and quality defender which is a win/win also. What confuses me most is why Cal had Cumming at 7 and Robey at 8, he kinda makes it sound like he’s the one that’s locked and he’s most unsure on Robey and Taylor for 8. Yeah us and Melbourne I think are easy to predict, whereas with Richmond you don’t even know one player they’re selecting.Honestly I think Richmonds picks will be harder to settle on than ours, sure we get the left overs but I think either way we will come away with either a quality mid or 2 or the other scenario would be a quality mid and quality defender which is a win/win also.
I think this is just the view of a supporter. The recruiting team would have so much information that they won't be speculating like any of us are.I honestly would hate to be a draft recruiter in our position, how do you even select 2 players in our spot. Like any combination you go with is quality but you always have in the back of your mind did I go with the right pick.
Its interesting do you go for talent and upside or culture setters and dawgs, it would make sense if you went the Taylor and Sharp route, then next year if we do finish in a low position, you just go best available and hope they’re A grade talent.
