The interview sure made it sound like XT was coming to us . . . do you talk about how he’s told you he’s a big fan of Tiges and the condemn him to Airport West? (Plus the talk of best available makes it sound like were taking someone in an area we have plenty of strength)

(I’d hate to force a Tigers fan to play for the Dive Bombers but I’m happy to save a bombers fan by bringing them to Punt Road – welcome Sullivan, thank us later)

So, I’m guessing XT and Robey

Cummins could be the back up if someone comes to us with a silly good offer that we can’t resist for Robey

I think it's the other way around. Cumming is high on our board and we're publicly saying that about XT to scare essendon into a trade.

I think it's Cumming and Robey or Farrow.

Would be happy with either but preference is Robey. Can't have enough match winners in a side.

Who is everyone's Vontae this year?

If CDT isn't taken by WCE, we need to get him. But otherwise Robey.
I just want to see the largest starting midfield of all time, with Robey, CDT and Smillie bullying blokes.

I don’t believe this is correct, sorry. It’s my understanding this is only the case after pick 54 once picks no longer have a points value attached.

The points left over are pretty small so you can take that to the next year and it doesn't matter much. All depends where you reckon you're F3 will end and whether you'll need those points.

Has Kickett ever had more than 6 possies in a game ? He is a rookie at best there is no way you spend a ND pick on him.

FJ was told to get the best player at a specific skill set and it was Conca. He was fairly new at the job and went with the 'brains' trust. i.e. FJ's bosses told him what to get, and he got the best at that. Maybe a reason we sucked way back then.

Pick the best and don't try to fill a list need with a high pick, especially if you are reaching about 10 spots.

Having said that Conca had a pretty solid career. Was an excellent support character.

I guess we will find out tomorrow, is kind of amusing that most bomber fan posters are saying that Twomey gets us wrong more than anyone else, Robey & Cumming together is not a good fit for us, Taylor is good pick anyway, Hopefully Richmond let Robey slip still.

Just a heap of posts of them trying to keep a brave face and hope that "if you truly believe it then it might still happen".

In saying that I will have egg on my face if Robey does actually slip LOL so i understand why they are praying to the footy gods. Twomey's mock would have knocked the wind out of a few sails yesterday.

I loved the post I saw from someone along the lines of: "When Tigers already have Lalor, why would they also draft Robey and Cumming? That would be absolutely irresponsible list management".

I think it was Wallet coaching back then. Anyway, amateur hour. Thank God we have professionals running the show now.

I've flipped heaps but settled on wanting Cumming and Taylor. I think that balances our list better than Cumming and Robey.

At pick 38, just take the best available slider or trade out if we dont like anyone.

I can't remember what Conca did so well, but that was what FJ was told to pick. Even back then I thought it was stupid to focus so much on a current weakness in getting a kid. You have to look 5 years ahead, not what the coach wanted in the season just gone.

Must've been told to pick the player that's best at being mediocre at every aspect of footy.

Allan, Burton or LeRay might be more reliable.
