Alright, back on track. I've whipped up a quick consensus again – will add the missing ones as they're made available.

Melbourne land Taylor and Nairn

If Richmond take Taylor Essendon take Cumming and Sharp.

Melbourne take Nairn and I have no idea.

Does my head in trying to work it all out.... Hoping it works out (if we don't trade a pick): Nairn and then one of Cumming, Taylor or Farrow. All eyes on those pick trades because it's all cat and mouse between us and Essendon atm.

I think we need class on the half-back line, and half-forward lines.

And as suggested, I would be trading out Lever and Fritsch, at end of 2026. At their high point of they're values.

The high point of their values was 3 years ago.

I reckon Tigers take Cumming and Robey
Essendon take X Taylor and Sharp
Which leaves us with Nairn and Farrow.
Can only hope one of them wants Farrow but I doubt it.

I would prefer a combo of Nairn (only because it seems we will 100% pick him) and a Dovaston/Pickett over Farrow.

Of course my picks would be Robey, Cumming or X Taylor falling through but won’t happen.

That's the watch for me. If they do that deal with Carlton there will be a bit of a stand off on if they pick Sharp or not IMO as they will think he will slide past us. We need to have Hawks and Crows on the phone on draft night.

I think we take Sharp, I would say we have just cemented we would take whoever slips through from that group of 5 ahead of our pick.

I think that's when we'd get on the phone to the Hawks and/or Crows to try and do a pick trade. IMO both of them would be keen on Sharp, and they could leapfrog Essendon for him and we could get a slightly later pick (Pickett or Dovaston) and pick up a bonus one - Possibly a future one.

How do you know? You even acknowledged no one has discussed in media what we would do in that scenario. Taylor said he sees Farrow as a back who will move into midfield later so we clearly are looking for midfielders for post Viney/Steele in which Sharp or Grlj would fit the bill also. We have seen the movie before of what crap midfield depth does to teams.

Doubt Essendon play funny buggers when they can get who they want in Taylor, Sharp and Doverston without dicking around anyway.

Yeah, I don't think Essendon will run that risk. However it has been reported Essendon are very confident we won't touch Sharp.

Nairn is a shoe in not sure about Dovaston. I reckon it will fall our way and we'll get Farrow. I feel most the time if a team is heavily linked to a player, Sharp in the bombers case, they'll take him.

Cumming/Farrow/Sharp would be a good haul for them.

Rumours have them saving their third selection for Dovaston but I don't see the need for a small forward. They have got Kako. Sweid is tied to them. And as long as Next Gen Academies remain, they will get access to a good quality small forward or Arab descent every other year.
