Obviously they are not completely alike...
But Yeo is our version of an elite stoppage player.
I feel that we desperately need another one... Even more so than athletic talls.
Sharp is a player you can build your side around... With his skills and leadership and ability to make our Harleys and hewetts better.
Even at pick 2 he would be my pick

They are completely different players.

Like comparing Dangerfield/Harley to Dunkley/Redden

Tbh Harley is our elite stoppage player if we want him to be.
Build around Harley, not some Sharp-type which is essentially a role player.

What grade does Yeo get and what grade will Sharp get over their careers? That's the best way to compare them I reckon.

Yeo is obviously an A-+-++-+ whereas Sharp is an A--+-+---+ and if you disagree then you're a campaigner and I want to fight

I cant think of another mid who plays like Yeo.

190cm+, super agile, explosive with brute strength to force his way out of congestion, decent marking/aerial prowess, clearance beast, etc.
Most of the other strong/explosive inside mids dont have the agility of Yeo, and the agile ones arent as big or strong as Yeo.
Its a unique combo.

Sharp doesnt have the athletic traits of Yeo at all, theyre not even close to the same player

Give Bo Allan a few years. Powerful athlete and underrated by some on here.

He also pivots and drives his legs powerfully in a beeline to goal similar to Yeo as a CBD mid.

Called it in August last year, and I think people will be pleasantly surprised after a couple more preseasons.

You've got the Utility with great upside, the Inside Mid that will play 200 games and Captain, and the Rebound Defender with the best disposal in the draft.

Not hugely optimistic for CDT and Addinsall...

I don't know why we are wasting our time with Schoenberg & Robertson, they'll end up the the other cast off's we've had in recent years like Witherden, Hunt.
