Yep ridiculous. Richmond, the team that finished second last, gets the 7th selected player. Gold Coast might be able match bids for 4 1st round players (Uwland, Patterson, Murray and Addinsall) despite not having an earlier 1st rd pick than any of the bids. Make it make sense.

I'm hoping tomorrow Duursma and Duff-Tytler is going to be our Rowell, Anderson / Franklin, Roughead draft that propels us towards our next flag. I believe Duursma is a lock to be a gun in the mould of Goddard/Bont and while Duff-Tytler carries more risk he could be a scary proposition if it all comes together. The club has done the right thing in holding picks 1 & 2 and tomorrow for the first time in a long time, we will have 3 players on our list with superstar potential.

4 I reckon. Shanahands deserves to be in that group.

Wardlow has nowhere near the marking ability of Yeo, or kicking depth IMO.

Give Bo Allan a few years. Powerful athlete and underrated by some on here.

Comparable in every combine result to Yeo. (First links I found of their results: Yeo & Bo Allan)

He also pivots and drives his legs powerfully in a beeline to goal similar to Yeo as a CBD mid.

Called it in August last year, and I think people will be pleasantly surprised after a couple more preseasons.

TBF, If he's been underrated, it's because he hasn't really done anything yet.

He's probably been a bit forgotten because we haven't really seen much of him, for a variety of reasons.

Would love to see him get a crack this year.

Because we have 4 extra rookie spots and our WAFL side is in desperate need of some actual talent.

If they also turn out to be any good, that's also a bonus.

Getting 4 extra kids as speculative rookies does absolutely nothing for our development and would actively make our WAFL side worse.
