Question is a lot more to do with CDT vs two top 10 picks.

Now harley is giving the jumper to some family who made him fat and a 200cm ruck who there is nothing in common with. This is photo has the potential of going the worst with 3 leaving the club

I'm excited by CDT as a player, I've been fortunate to hear more about him and how recruiters see him and I don't see any reason to trade him away unless it's for a kings ransom.

If Dons want him that badly (presuming that's who they want as Robey I think gets past Tigers anyway whilst CDT wouldn't) they can can come to the table with an offer too good to refuse. Otherwise we take the golden goose.

Maybe the club rates the top 10 prospect way higher than any of the club tied prospects. Maybe it’s all just pie in the sky, we will find out soon enough.

We get very very tight on list spots if make trade pick 2 by itself for 2 picks. Would be left unable to match bids if bids came later for more than one of our NGA/Father Sons. The fact this board could see it coming a mile away and yet the club didn't resolve it when there was an easy solution with Cripps going to the rookie list is negligence.

Not saying we wouldn't do it because top end talent >>>>>> mid draft talent, but you'd have to be prepared for a Banfield running around for some team you hate.

Why would we care? If we don't get one of the NGAs we just draft someone else we rate similarly in that cluster.

Get up its draft day fellas. Get excited we've finally made it and we are going to bring in our biggest haul of talent ever!

Picks 1 and 2 are sounding almost locked in. Williams we are likely to match. Here is what our U25 team could look like assuming those players are drafted to help put ourselves in the clubs shoes for the other picks.

This leaves us with some obvious needs.

Inside Mid - Hall, Gross aren't the best candidates going around in a rebuilding team. Duursma is every chance of not developing an inside game, and Harley needs help.

Ideally what we use 13 on, with prime candidates being Cumming, Sharp, Grilj, Farrow, although we would likely need to trade up for all of those. Addinsall if GC don't match has been predicted and Greeves/phillipou are players we could take a little later.
NGA options - Banfield and Evans, although they might not give much more hope in this position than our current crop.

KPD/Tall - We have a bit of time here given we have young and edwards who are only a little over 25, but it's an obvious need in terms of quality. The clubs plans for the Archer Reid and the ruck in the future could impact, with my suspicion being the club doesn't think it's as big a need as I do.

Would we really take CDT at 2 and use 13 on a tall? Candidates would be Schubert and Thredgold, Curtin if we take somebody late to rookie. Would be interesting if a Ludowyke could come into the frame for us in the 30s/40's if we have a pick their. The club may very well rate somebody like that more than banfield/evans and are willing to take the risk on the latter with a live pick on a tall.
NGA Options - D Shanahan, 2026 draft.

Outside mids/Wing/kickers - We've tried a few players in these positions the last few years and it hasn't gone so well. We need somebody to make a wing their own and current prospects Davis, Dewar, Maric, Grego are anything but guarentees. Pick 13 could have some highly rated players like Lindsay, O Taylor and Barker available.
